I live on the Colorado Front Range around 5100 feet. We typically have lots of house finches, black capped chickadees, house sparrows, & gold finches. This seed alap attracted some grackles, red winged blackbirds, European starlings and blue jays, plus some young mourning doves and their parents. I think the chips of corn in the seed that falls in the grass appeal to the bluejays and young squirrels, so they tend to stay away from the feeders.This seed doesn’t go as fast as using just black sunflower, which is what I was hoping!I also have a few nyjer feeders since I prefer the smaller birds - especially the gold finches. Adding a few makeshift bird baths nearby also appeals to a variety of birds; they are just terracotta saucers put on top of upside down pots.

I haven't had the best experience with bird foods. I've bought different brands the birds wouldn't touch mainly filled with filler seeds they don't like wasted money which was disappointing! I decided to give this a go based of the reviews glad I did the birds are loving this food. My yard has been full of different birds. I enjoy watching the birds come for a visit to eat. The price is right for a huge bag of food. Good quality food, no smell easy to fill my containers just cut the corner off the bag pour into container to store. Overall happy camper here, My new go to for bird food.

After setting out the feed for a bit, as soon as the bird found it and scoped it out, my back patio is practically a zoo now for bird of all kinds: blue jays, cardinals, grackles, mourning doves, etc.Even squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks have been coming over to help themselves to this feed and each day I come out to a massive hoard of birds and small creatures . My neighbors are calling my patio a zoo now.10/10

I have cardinals that love to come to my bird feeder by the kitchen window. I get a kick out of watching them...I even know when they're there by their happy playful chirpy sounds. I wanted to ensure their continued visits by getting them bird feed they would like. This seems to be the ticket. Whatever ingredients are in there, my cardinals really like it (I think the black sunflower seeds are a fave). I like that the bag is big, it should last the whole season. The price point was great, too! Best pricing I've seen, anywhere.

And yes, squirrels seem to enjoy the seeds too unfortunately. Unfortunately we realized too late how pricey it is so not great value for our money. My wife found similar seed in bulk and bought an equivalent or greater quantity for a small fraction of what we paid for Kaytee seeds. Not likely to buy anymore Kaytee at Bolo.
Bird seed
WellI put this bird see out at 4 different bird feeder stations along hiking trails. Three on the stations chipmunks and squirrels ate it all up and the fourth station, a bear totally demolished the station. But zero birds were observed at any site.

The birds are twerking in my yard
The birds are loving this seed and I think that the whole bird community has figured it out. I’ve pretty much gone through a whole bag in 2 days and now the birds are giving me the stink eye. I’m afraid that if I don’t get more of this stuff, that they will collectively revolt upon my head. I have had a blast watching the birds go crazy over this seed.
