You pay a little more for Eheim products but you get what you pay for. My Eheim filter system has worked quietly and flawlessly

Good filter. I have never had a problem with the filters. They are not expensive but you do have to find them online. The classic 2213 is a good system. They are slightly overrated for the amount of gallons they can effectively clean. If buying a filer, get a larger than you need filter. the classic ended up not handling the 55 gallon tank. Got a Eco pro filter to run with the classic. Both do a nice job of keeping it clean. Def. get a larger size than your tank.

I have a 60 gallon live plant aquarium and for the past ten (10) years used several different filters. I did not think I could top the Fluval, to my surprise Eheim is the best hands down. The unit is compact, quiet, looks nice if exposed and easy to clean. This unit offers more than one filter combination and the price beats retail purchase.

This thing that I am rating is a coarse filter insert for the eheim 250 a product that is not directly sold in the USofA anymor. The coarse filter insert works like it is supposed to.I don't know why Bolo gives us an opportunity to rate it for suction power and noise level, so I hope this review is going to the right product?

You could always cut out some filter pads from a sheet of filter floss to save some money, but I don't like that hassle. Besides, I always have a ton of waste. These work great and last a while. My fish aren't that dirty and I do regular maintenance.
