Not much to say. It's a clear silicone sealant/gel in a tube. You squeeze it where you want it; you smooth out/wipe off the excess; it smells like vinegar for a while and cures at room temperature (RTV = Room Temperature Vulcanizing) to a clear, rubbery, waterproof finish. Like any other silicone sealant (not to be confused with "siliconized" acrylic), it won't take paint, so pick a color that's close to what you're working on. Clear works in most situations.I don't bother with the cap after I open the tube. I leave the nozzle in place and thread a tight-fitting screw into the nozzle hole. It doesn't dry out; I don't have to clean out the nozzle each time and there's no waste.

This is my first experience with silicone adhesive, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Bought it because I had ordered a refrigerator gasket (seal) that just wasn't popping into place, as it was supposed to. Returning it was too cumbersome, so I was advised to try silicone adhesive. This one was reasonably priced, with good reviews.It's the perfect size for my project, and the applicator can be removed so it can be re-capped--little waste. I had to cut the tip of the applicator several times for the adhesive to come out, making a bigger hole than I had planned. Given its thickness, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I was hoping, though, that I could just squeeze the tube and apply the contents in the gap between the gasket and the fridge door. However, as the silicone adhesive is squeezed out, it curls up on itself, making it difficult to get into the gap. I had to use my fingers to try and push it into the gap. I made quite a mess. Perhaps I should have cut the applicator at an angle, as with caulk?Silicone adhesive doesn't adhere very quickly, it seems; so the gasket immediately popped off again in a few places. I focused on a smaller area, taped it off and quickly shut the fridge door to hold the gasket in place. The next day I found a few spots that needed to be re-glued.I don't think my difficulties are necessarily the fault of the product. I just don't think refrigerator seals are meant to be sealed. But so far, it seems to be holding.

Works well, does secure things very well! Used it to secure a light fixture to the ceiling, just a bead around the base to ensure it stays and doesn't ever wobble and also to be sure no bugs get up in there. Works to do that very well. Have used this brand before, and never an issue.

Best ever silicone
So, so easy to use in small tubes. Works great - have put it around tex screws in my polycarb roof to stop leaking (from underneath), have used it to seal a drain (mild leak around the join) and others I can't remember. Should stay good in the sun. Definitely recommend this - better than the tubes at Bunnings. And I still have tubes left for the future - great value. If it's meant for an RV you know it will be good quality and so far it has worked for me.
