Removes all oil filters from 2 1/2" to 3 1/8" in diameter. This extra large range enables the 63600 wrench to fit most all import car filters plus the common 3" domestic car filters. Steel jaws grip filter without slipping. Works in tight spots from the front of the filter using 3/8" drive. This is to be used for removing the filter, not installing.

I've used a few oil filter removers now and this is by far the most useful for my car. I have a dodge dart 2015 and the oil filter is hard to get to with most other removal tools. After using this one, I don't think I'll ever need another. It's very well built, slim for small spaces and easy to use. It's Definitely worth the price and latches on to the filter easily. It also can only turn in the direction to loosen the filter, but not tighten it.

My favorite filter tool. This thing will grab and grip! Love the it adjusts to fit filters. I purchased the smaller one, cause i get more use of it in the garage. Works great, far better then the pliers.

I had a motorcycle oil filter that was way over torqued from the factory. This tool did the job. It really digs in to the filter so it does not slip as your turn. Used the handle from my floor jack over the rachet handle. Got the leverage I needed and it started to turn. Highly recommended if you have an oil filter that is installed by robots or gorillas.

Will get any correct sized filter off but only works for removing filters reason for 4 stars. I am 80 years old so use a cheap other filter wrench to give that new filter the quarter turn when putting it on. Don't have strength in hands anymore.

No issues. Helps if you grease the pivot points a little so the spring returns work better. It was added to my collection of oil filter caps, wrenches, and straps so I can remove all sorts of different types of filters. This may become my "go to" for filter removals on the first try.

I do all the oil changes on our family cars and I just don't find this easy to use. So it sits in the drawer, and I use my one that fits on the end or i use a filter wrench.
