B12 is a necessary vitamin that affects the nervous system and therefore mood, but it's an elusive vitamin that tends to be hard for your body to extract from the source (usually red meat, but also molasses, in case you're a vegetarian). As you age, it becomes increasingly harder to get the B12 you need, and simply swallowing it in pill form doesn't work well because of the absorption problem. I used to get B12 injections (great, but taking the time to go to the doctor, and paying a co-pay, is a problem). Lo and behold, there is a solution. It's a sublingual morsel which is absorbed directly into your bloodstream by putting this under your tongue and letting it dissolve. You don't suck on it or chew it, so you need some time to let it melt by itself. This works pretty well. Solgar adds a mild cherry flavor, much milder than, say, a cough drop, so there's not much aftertaste, if any. This is the easiest, cheapest, and most practical way to get your B12 requirement. You do notice a difference after taking this for a few days: a slightly brighter mood, a bit more energy. Highly recommended!

These little nuggets are a lifesaver! I used to dread those big, chalky B12 pills. These melt under my tongue quickly and easily, and I barely even taste them. Plus, I feel like they're working wonders – my energy levels are way up, and I'm not as foggy-brained anymore. Definitely recommend for anyone struggling with B12 deficiency!"

B12 is considered by some to be one of the few vitamin supplements that are actually of benefit, for certain conditions. One of those is if you are taking stomach acid reducers such as Zantac, Pepcid or Nexium.So, no guarantees, and I can't prove it, but I swear I feel generally better when taking one of these per day. If I do without for 2-3 days, I believe I notice a difference. I am 65.This is the stuff I want, and the price was as expected. They don't make a big deal about this on the label (but it's there in the small print) because of unfortunate (and uninformed) negative online comments, but these pills contain B12 as cyanocobalamin, which means it contains cyanide. But read on: you need to swallow about 100,000 of these pills to get a lethal dose (your mileage may vary, but that's close enough). That's 400 BOTTLES of these pills, doncha know. Read more about B12 on Wikipedia, for instance. And according to what I've read, cyanocobalamin is very air-stable, more so than other forms of B12. All that said, do your own research. Solgar (who has a good reputation) is not out to hurt its customers. That would be bad for business, not to mention the sticky legal aspect.BTW Solgar also sells B12 as Methylcobalamin (and B12 in a couple of other different forms, such as vegetable capsules) - costs quite a bit more but you can certainly get that, if you prefer.

La tomo en dias separados y separada de otras vitaminas.Me gustó el producto.Solgar es buena marca.Fecha vcto 6/27 recién fabricada.Viene en pote oscuro de vidrio.
Easy intake of Vit B12, and has made a difference for me.
Hard to say if it actually has, but this product has coincided with an increase in energy on my part! I have made other lifestyle changes, roughly the same time, but I believe this stuff has at least helped reduce my fatigue levels and I no longer struggle so much to wake in the mornings.Easy to use, simply place on your tongue and let it melt away or chew it, the taste is actually very good, which makes a nice change for healthy products. Not much else to say really, the pot is of good quality and it appears to be a premium product. Obviously check with your GP if is suitable for you if you have any health issues.
