This clips can hold two thin wet pieces of plastic together, no slipping, in high winds. I was very impressed. In some areas, I've also clamped that plastic to some cedar boards. They are just a hair over 1 inch thick, but the clamps fit. My arthritic hands are wimpy compared to what they used to be, so they take some effort for me to open. Before my arthritis, nerve damage, etc... I probably would have considered it easy. However, someone older and/or weaker than I might have difficulty. Any clamp strong enough to hold tight on thin plastic will be like that, though.

Use for framing ACT grid ceilings. They work amazing, by far better than anything from homedepot or stores alike. They hold down very tight and don't leave behind and marks or residue after removing. The rubber parts and super tight on the metal so you don't have to worry about them falling off like the other cheap brands.

I have used some of these which resulted in the internal metal breaking through the plastic and destroying my wire project. Not these though. They are firm, sturdy, and won't harm whatever it is you're working on. A great buy.

My Bad.... But these 3" ones are very strong and I am sure they will come in handy. They almost take 2 hands to open them..... Great heavy duty clamp.
The spring in this clamp is very forceful. I need to use both hands in order to open it wide. Can barely open it with just one hand. Exactly what I needed it for as I wanted a very tight grip.
Little - perfectly small
Super small clamp - I needed one for wire weaving purposes and me not being a handy person didn’t know what I was looking for. I bought another one but it was far too large (3inch) this one tho is the perfect small size. Not heavy - sturdy feels solid. I think this will do.
