I use it for so many things and go through a jar pretty quickly. We only use olive oil type dressings for our salads and a dab of this mustard with the olive oil, salt and drop or two of honey is so delicious. Don't let the negative review of the lid stop you from buying it because that is what keeps it fresh. It does take a bit of a tug but so worth it.

Great tasting crushed whole grain mustard (a smidge too salty IMO, but better in that respect than many other French mustards). Cool traditional stoneware crock, with a functional, but awkward to remove press fit top.It's hard to find this on the shelf even at specialty stores, so I'm glad it's available here!

Let me begin by saying that I find mustard just OK, generally, and I’m not typically a fan of spicy food. Having said that,I’ve eaten this mustard for many years, more years than I can count. The quality is fantastic and insurmountable. This is a mustard you could eat straight from the jar, it’s so freaking good. It has just the right amount of spice, the right amount of vinegar, it’s absolutely perfect. I use this on anything I want to put mustard on - from gourmet foods to hotdogs to eating it straight out of the jar. It’s just wonderful. I’ve never had a bad jar, either. The heavy stone crockery jars are very heavy & durable and you can easily reuse them afterward for other things. If you’re looking for a top worldwide mustard, one that will ruin you for any other mustard, you want this one.

This has to be the best mustard in the world (if you enjoy seedy mustard)! This mustard has been produced in France for hundreds of years using a very simple recipe. It is packed a in a small earthenware crock, that alone sells it! But beware, the original packaging had a cork top that was sealed with wax. Very unique! But to make it easier for our commercial friends, it now comes with a choice of a plastic fitted lid, or the original cork.I was kind of disappointed when I tried to open mine and realized it was plastic. The cork seems more authentic!But despite all that, this mustard is the best on the market!

This mustard is a very grainy delicious mustard. I have a mustard sauce recipe that calls for this type of mustard and this is the best. I’ve tried it with others but they don’t have the tang that this mustard has. A very important part of the recipe. Also, can’t always find it in the store so great that Bolo carries it! Love it!

Excellent flavor- I missed that it was whole grain which I really like in sandwiches and sausages and I am happy with that. I was actually looking for something to make caeser salad with- which whole grain isnt what I would use- BUT thats OK! Really good mustard and a super good price. I also like the earthen ware pot and tight fitting lid

Discovered this mustard in France and was delighted to see it on Bolo. It arrived and the exterior of the jar had what appeared to be dried mustard. I washed the jar, opened it, and the mustard inside was perfect. Others complain about how hard it is to open, did not find this to be the case at all. A delicious mustard at a reasonable price. Recommended!
