Well made, attractive colors and patterns and a cute bee to chew on. Reading previous reviews, I was a bit concerned about the bee on the ribbon having the potential to wrap around a baby's neck. I agree that this book should perhaps not be left in a crib with a child unattended. The ribbon does not seem long enough to wrap around a neck, but better not to take any chances. However, it is a fun book to read to our infant, she enjoys chewing on the little bee, and Daddy and sister both agreed the book was a worth while purchase. We also chose 2 Lamaze fabric books we are very pleased with (Forest and Firefly), and appreciate this Manhattan Toy book equally for its quality and engaging images.

My baby loves this book. It has a lot of different textures and bright colors to look at. You can use it as a toy and it doubles as a book too!

This book is so cute and has so many great textures for baby to feel and lots of bright colors to attract baby's eyes. I love that it has a little rhyming story to it - just short enough to hold my 6 month old's attention. I wish the book had a little more structure to it. It is a soft cloth book, but if it had a little bit of piping around the edges or was made of a thicker fabric, it would be a little easier to turn the pages.

Before I had a baby I kind of low-key hated cloth books. They just didn’t seem to do as good of a job of being a book as board books. Fast forward and now I have a 4 month old who loves just sitting with a cloth book in reach and slapping it, turning the pages, and shoving it in her mouth. This one has the added bonus of a little bee for grabby hands. She rates it 10/10.

The book is very fun for our daughter, she is 1. She likes the bee that can buzz through the holes in the cloth pages, and she enjoys the pictures that are contained within. The only thing we didn't like, is that is it not nearly as vibrant in color as it shows online. The colors are more muted, and dark. We were disappointed about that, as our daughter loves neon colors, and we thought that's what this had. It also has a very bad crease in one of the pages, that we cannot fix or get out. It seems as though the page was sewn wrong. She still enjoys the book though. I would still purchase it if I could go back in time.

Silly, fun and interesting a wonderful combination for a toddler.
Bought this for my son's first birthday and he had little interest in it, now at 14 months he loves it! It's fun for him to put the bee through the hole and talk about all that's happening on each page. The book itself is a short rhyme but there is so much happening on each page that it really encourages questions from the kid or allows the parent to open a great discussion with the child. There's also extra little things on the pages like flaps and mirrors that really hold their interest. Definitely recommended.
