What a fun toy! This was purchased as a gift for my one year old that loves bubbles- who doesn’t love bubbles?! I researched way too much for a bubble maker. I wanted something that would create bubbles and would last longer than a couple of months. Here is my takeaway on this bubble maker compared to others.Pros: -Creates SO MANY BUBBLES.-I don’t have to be lightheaded-Told I’m not making them fast enough-Easy to refill-Easy to take apart to clean-Price pointCons: -Takes batteries-Noisy. This might not be an issue when used outside, but it’s winter so I’ve only used it inside so far.-Small bubble solution reservoir. It runs out pretty quickly, but it is easy to refill even while running-The unit vibrates itself while on, so it does move on a smooth surface. Watch when on an elevated surface that it doesn’t fall off.Note: I have had the unit over a month and still works. Only have had it inside. As instructions state, I do clean it after every use and I believe that does help the longevity of the product. I also have only used the Gazillion bubbles solution which seem to create a great quality and quantity bubbles. I cannot say if “cheaper” solutions or homemade solutions will work just as well.Overall the pros outweigh the cons for me. The cons were definitely small ones for me, but could be dealbreakers for others. I recommended this product.

If you are like me and were thinking you would save an extra couple bucks by purchasing this machine instead of a more expensive bubble machine? Here's some advice. Don't.For starters, it's zip tied into the packaging at 4 different points as was so popular with medium sized toys in the 90s. You'll need scissors to get it out and it's not particularly easy.Getting to the battery compartment requires taking out four screws as well, which might not be much of an issue if it ran longer than 2.5 hours on a set of brand name batteries.The machine itself is also incredibly noisy. Like....if someone is mowing the lawn right outside, you can still hear the machine. In a quiet house, if you are one room over with the door shut, you can still hear it. My wife is a heavy sleeper and I woke her up turning this thing on.The bubble wheel itself also makes a clicking/grinding noise and skips anywhere from one to five times a minute.As to total bubbles output? It averages 3 bubbles per wand, with 65 wands getting blown per minute. I'm a nerd and yes I actually broke a stopwatch and timed it. I can do better manually blowing a bubble wand from the dollar store myself. Other machines literally do 50x the amount of bubbles this thing does.It should have the option to be powered by USB but it doesn't.It should last longer than 2.5 hours on 6 AA batteries but it doesn't.It should not be competing with a lawn mower for noise levels but it does.The packaging should not make you frustrated after you have taken it out but it does.All in all, this is a horribly engineered product. If I had bought it from the dollar tree I would just throw it out, but I'm going to be returning this.

My kids love this toy. It's a hit at every party. It's our second one, after the first quit working following man-handling by kids. Here are some tips:1) You have to set it up in a place that will keep the kids from touching it. The kids get excited, but when they move it, it tends to cause spills or tip and leak juice that damages the unit.2) This thing makes a TON of bubbles. Probably about 50 a second. Really, it's too many. To cut down, I used pliers to cut every-other bubble wand off. Works great, and saves on bubble solution, too.3) The bottle is designed to use a special cap (included) and sit upside down in the holder tray. The cap doesn't always work, so I just pour some of the juice into the tray and refill it every five minutes or so.4) The unit corrodes and breaks. The wires between the batteries, switch and fan fail. To prolong it's life, you have to clean it after use (bubble solution is corrosive) and keep it out of the rain.

I bought this before Christmas for a good price, to have when the weather warmed up. I had a different model, same brand, last year and it was broken by the end of the season so I wanted to get this model instead. We used it one day this week, and it blew tons of bubbles. My son and I had a blast. I read the instructions, and carefully rinsed it out after the first use. Today my son wanted to use it and go play. It wouldn’t turn on. So I changed batteries, surprised they’d have died that quickly. Well, they hadn’t. My husband came home, and I went to take a nap as I work nights. When I woke up, this is what I found. See pictures. My electrician husband took it apart and found the switch to be rusty. The switch isn’t near where the bubbles go, so I’m assuming it was bad when I bought it. Not one to give up the fight, my husband found a switch and installed a new one and taped the heck out of it with electrical tape. So now it works, and is actually easy to turn on. The bubbles made by this brand rock but I’d probably avoid buying another machine from them.

This is a fantastic item. The ORIGINAL bottle of Gazillion bubble solution worked perfectly producing thousands of bubbles per minute. BUT after the first bottle that comes with it is gone you need the SAME liquid from the SAME manufacturer or chances are it won't work as well. This was my experience. I bought this one online, I also bought the Typhoon model at Walmart. But they don't carry the liquid from Gazillion. They have it form someone else - which I had to buy. I had no alternative. After using the original bottle that came with each model I refilled them with this no-name brand liquid. Both models worked terribly. Maybe 10 to 15% of the bubbles I had with Gazillions liquid. I rubbed the original liquid between my fingers. Then I did the same with the no-name brand. A definite difference in thickness of the liquids. The no-name obviously had a lot more water in it. No wonder Walmart can sell a gallon for $5! I had to play with adding dishwashing liquid to the no-name brand until I got it near the thickness of Gazillion's liquid. Worked much better but not as good as the original.Whoever the salesman is that sells Gazillion's products to Retailers like Walmart - he should be fired! My initial reaction was to return both units because Walmart doesn't carry the right replacement liquid. It IS the Gazillion salesperson's responsibility to ensure Retailers like Walmart carry the right replacement liquid for their product. Otherwise it won't work properly. I'll bet dollars to donuts Walmart and other Retailers get a lot of Gazillion bubble makers returned because customers did exactly what I did. Buy the no-name liquid (because they don't carry a refill bottle of liquid from Gazillion) and discover it doesn't work. Walmart looks at the high return rate and discontinues Gazillion bubble makers.
Very Interesting and enchanting for kids.
easy to assemble and start but run only for few hours with filling liquid. After that its useless, no more bubbles. tried with washing powder, shampoo, nothing worked.
