This blu-ray dvd is my favorite of all the ACDC concerts available. My only criticism is with the film editing. Wish someone would sue the rock era video editors for malpractice. Most film editing is too "flippy". They should stay on a particular scene long enough to satisfy the viewer. Wake up you dudes.

I just received this. I did own for many many years the DVD version. So I stepped up to the Blu-ray version. And I am certainly glad I did. There's a night in day difference between Blu-ray and the dvd. Sound wise there's really not much difference because the DVD had uncompressed 5.1.I also own live at the river plate. That's an excellent blu-ray. I do prefer the live at River plate version more than this one. The transfer seems a little more crisp.The advantage of this live at donington version for me is because this is what the band looked like when I saw them in concert. The river plate, they had some years on them. But no matter what, they were still jamming unbelievably well.If you're an AC/DC fan, this live at donington is a must-have in my opinion.

I rented this, then bought it. It's the only concert vid I've watched more than twice and it's because the music is produced perfectly on this recording. TURN IT UP! It's definitely best loud.If you're a guitarist who loves Angus' playing, get this. You won't regret the shots of him shredding, and you'll be amazed at the sound he gets from his wireless GS.If you're a bassist who loves Cliff's playing, get this. You won't regret watching how the bottom end should be done correctly -- while singing.If you're a rhythm guitarist who is curious about the brains behind this band, get this and watch how it's done -- with a Gretsch guitar.If you're a drummer who needs to learn how to play without using ride cymbals or elaborate fills, get this. Chris Slade, the replacement for Phil Rudd (who'd now back in the band) is a master of killin' it without flash or fills. And if you want to see how 1/8th notes are done at 200 bpm, he shows you how to do it, -- for over ten minutes.If you're a singer who loves Bon Scott, too bad. You'll have to suffer through Brian Johnson's screeching. I know, I know, you either love his singing or hate it. Now you know where I stand.If you're just a fan who wonders how Angus stays so thin, get this so you can see him run about 5 miles during his performance. It's almost unbelievable.

I owned the original AC/DC Live VHS when the video was first released as well as the cassette tape set and the CD set. For hardcore AC/DC fans, this Bluray is an absolute must-have. There have been several audio tweaks in the mix as the master track needed fixing from what the band said. Owners of the original VHS will notice the difference as I definitely did. However, I will always love this video. It is absolutely epic!

Para todo fan del grupo australiano, no hay mejor manera de experimentar su directo, al margen de presenciarlo, claro, que este DVD. En plenitud de forma, repertorio clásico. Para ver una y otra vez.

Dans un premier temps, je l'ai commandé en Blu ray, mais comme le son de celui-ci ne faisait que sauter, je l'ai renvoyé et je l'ai à nouveau commandé au même format. Hélas il avait exactement même défaut de gravure ! J'ai donc renvoyé le 2éme et cette fois j'en ai acheté un en DVD.Dans ce format, ça fonctionne à merveille !!! Ce concert c'est que du bonheur, comme d'habitude, ils ont tous le feu et mettent une ambiance de folie. Difficile de ne pas monter le son et faire trembler les vitres. Impossible de ne pas l'avoir dans sa "Livethèque".Dommage pour la qualité du son et de l'image que la version Blu ray soit défaillante, mais tellement heureuse que le DVD soit nickel chrome, même si la qualité est plus rustique ;-)

VHSが出た当時擦り切れるほど見たクチです。音質がぁとか画質がぁとか細かい事は全て吹っ飛びます。最高です。でも、細かい事を言うと、ドルビーサラウンドのミックスがメチャメチャです。24bitPCMサラウンドはとても良いです。なので48kHz/24-bitが再生できない環境だと残念なサウンドしか聴けないですね。
