I purchased this globe to replace the original.The Colman lantern that this is being used on is over 30 years old and it has endured many camping trips.A few years ago I broke the Globe so this is the replacement for the original. In my opinion, there isn't a better lantern made.This Globe appears to be just slightly smaller than the original however, not enough to make any difference. It fits very well.
