Sculpey is the go-to clay for making small projects. A beautiful color palette of multiple arrays. The colors are brilliant, and they are packaged securely. The clays can be mixed to create other hues.

Product: Sculpey III Oven Bake Clay Sampler 1oz, 30/pkgOverall impression: This clay is excellent for beginners and experts alike.Pros:- Soft. This clay is soft and easy to mold. It also makes it easy to blend colors together and create patterns.- Variety of colors. There's a color for anything that you'd like to do. We've used it for figurines and jewelry. 4 different people have used it and everyone has been very happy with the results.- Does not crack! I've used clay that has cracked or broken while baking, but these don't do that. They don't fade, crack, or change at all.Cons:- Since this is a variety pack, there's a small amount of each color. I would like it to have more white and black which are the most used colors, but you can just buy those separately.Would I recommend it? Definitely! This crafting skills is essential for quarantine and for relaxing. I 100% recommend it for anyone and everyone who wants to pick up an artistic hobby.

I was asked to review these clays but at the time polymer clay was new to me and I wasn't familiar with this brand compared to others. But now I've been using polymer clay for about 2 years or so and have tried a few different ones, and as far as which is my favourite, I'd choose Sculpey III. Its not too soft and not too hard. The texture is perfect and great for kids to use too. Primo is harder and more tough to condition but works great for details and wont feel like its melting in your hand like fimo soft can feel like. SculpyIII had lots of vivid, bright and beautiful colors. Some with shimmer in them and some are flat or matte colors, and in this multi-colors pack you get flat and shimmer blocks of clay. Some of there textures can be slighty softer or harded in the pack depending on the shimmer or not. Over all, I love this brand and the pack of multi-colors. I've bought them again, again, and WILL buy them again and again!

This non-drying claim is amazing! I love that it will stay malleable as long as you don't bake it. It's made of the same stuff that pvc pipe is made of so it is somewhat safe near electrical. I use it a lot near led lights on a model train and slot car layout. I keep some near my work office desk to sculpt in down time or on breaks. It comes off of fingers fairly easily with rubbing alcohol. The various colors make it fun to work with for various craft projects. I have some of this stuff from when I was in college (graduated in 1999) that is still malleable today!

Pretty good assortment of colors. The clay is easy to work with and stays soft even when left out on a table for weeks. Throw it in the oven, and it sets up hard as a rock. Kids love it!

Great modeling clay. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old. He loved the array of colors and immediately set about making mini model animals etc. The clay was very pliable and easy to work with, even for a 9 year old who has some fine motor skill problems. The clay hardened nicely in the oven following the directions and was pretty sturdy. When stored in plastic food save bags the clay has remained usable for going on 6 months. The clay did not stain our counter tops like other model clay brands we have used. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and price of this clay.

I purchased this set so I could get a nice sampler of some of sculpey's colors and finishes. You can very easily mix several colors together to get a different color or shade and it blends very nicely. The clay bakes really well and needs just 15 minutes per quarter inch of clay at 275 degrees. I do find that the Sculpey III shows the fingerprints really easily. I do prefer sculpey's Premo for the types of crafts I do, but the Sculpey III is great for beginning crafts.

I bought this for a polymer-clay sculpting party and it was super easy to mold and bake. I baked it in batches based on the thickness of the creations (ranging from 0.5-1.5 inches thick). I would recommend baking the creations not too long after molding them. Leaving them unbaked and in open air, especially in cooler temperatures, caused mine to crack slightly after baking (I left them for a few days to a week).
