Even though this is marketed as a pet toy, I got it for my 9 yr old grandson. It is life size and and has a soft underbelly. You can press it's back in and it makes a lifelike grunting sound. It also squeaks but not like a hedgehog, however it is a pet toy. Pet lovies hold up better than many regular stuffed animals and are made for rough treatment making it perfect for a rough and tumble 9 yr old. My grandson just stared at it after opening and then carried it around for over half an hour and gently put it down to run off and play with his brothers.

The reviews were promising & I finally decided to try the Hedgehog for my 70lb dog. He loved it & it squeaked for approximately 15 minutes, then silence. He pulled the plastic squeaky & the plastic tube like out & was finishing up the bag filled with white stuffing! I really wanted this & he did too! Just not made for this tough boy!

This is my pup's favorite stuffed animal of them all. Hedgie - as we like to call it - usually lasts us a good 6-7 months before it's ready to throw out and replace with a new one. My dog loves chewing on this, the nose is always the first thing to go, throwing it around on his own, playing fetch with it, and snuggling with it. The noise and squeaker really keep his attention it's so cute to watch him play with this toy. It's fun, it's bouncy, it's his favorite. It's not very durable. To make it last longer, we patch up small holes just by hand sewing, and that works easily enough. If your dog loves stuffed animals, this one will be a hit! Just know you'll have to replace it at least twice a year, if not more, depending how rough your dog gets with it. But it's well worth the price and we love it.

First of all this is the cutest thing ever. Secondly, my dog loves it. Most importantly to me it lasted 10 months! My 80 lb lab is a heavy chewer and most toys last a week. He loved this little guy and carried it around maybe that is why he was kinder to it! I bought the large the first time around and the extra large the second time. Both sizes are appropriate for an 80 lb dog. The sound is adorable.

This is a cute toy. Soft and makes sounds that are intriguing to dogs. However, it is definitely not for large dogs that like to chew and supervision is a must. I gave this to my dog and then stupidly left the room for a moment thinking there’s no way he could get it open because it’s very well made. When I returned, he had already ripped the seams along the top and pulled out part of the stuffing to get to the mechanism that was making the sounds! I shoved the stuffing back in and sewed it together as best I could but there was no saving the sound maker. Now he ignores it and it sits forlornly in the toy box. Great for puppies and dogs that aren’t so curious to figure out what is making that sound!

A beautiful dog toy, does everything it say!! Love the grunting noise. But my dog doesn't play much with toys (not the company's fault) so i can't judge on that, thought i might have tempted him!! But no. A very good well made toy, for dogs that love toys. The price is excellent for such a well made toy.

My dog loves her hedgehog so much she has to bring her everywhere... I find it so cute when she runs around the house with the huge thing! ☺️ Most importantly its been three months now and its managed to hold up quite well.
Great made toy that makes an unusual noise!
Had bought a smaller one in a big department store for my little puppy and sadly when he decided to grow up and turn into a little rascal this was the first toy to get absolutely destroyed. I came across this bigger one and had to buy it seeing as it was his favourite toy. Please note though that this makes a horrendous noice and that if your dog likes to chew on its toys then the TV will be going to MAX! Great toy though and definitely worth the money.

Wartezeit war Ok, da es aus der USA kam. Spielzeug kommt bei unserem Hund sehr gut an da die Geräusche sehr verlockend sind . Allerdings nach zwei Wochen waren an der Nase die ersten Fäden und am Rücken war die Naht aufgegangen. Der Rücken würde wieder genäht und die Fäden entfernt und somit wieder voll einsatzfähig . Das 100 Prozentige Hundespielzeug gibt es wohl nicht , daher ist dieses ganz in Ordnung und besser wie viele die wir nach einer Woche komplett entsorgen mussten. Ich würde dieses Hundespielzeug wieder kaufen .
