I looked at quite a large number of seats before buying these to replace the 13-year old ones in my pontoon boat. I have a bad back and spend a lot of time on the water, so comfortable seats are very important to me. Simply said, these high back Wise seats are great. The cushioning, although quite firm, is very comfortable, and the high back design is quite supportive. Also they appear to be well made and durable. You can't do better for the money.

look good and feel fairly comfortable to sit in. workmanship good. last set of wise seats I had lasted a good 10yrs and hope these do too. price was good enough and shipping was free so no complaints there. just one very minor flaw that I see is there may not be enoungh staples holding the seat to frame but time will tell.

I am very happy with this product. The pre-drilled mounting holes were perfect and the supplied hardware met the challenge. Looks great on the boat as my first mate chair.

Normally I'm not one to complain about stuff that I can fix or improve but whoever is doing the quality control is doing a terrible job. I received my seat only to find out that one of the threaded inserts is missing. I got all 4 bolts but only 3 of them had the threaded insert to bolt the seat down. The bolt was just loosely placed inside the hole and the other 3 bolts were actually screwed in and tight. My only option is to remove the seat foam from the plastic in order to get behind the plastic plate to add my own nut or some type of threaded insert, maybe a riv nut, or simply return it for a new one.

It could be better
I had to order 5 (five) while i needed only 3x units. Two were returned by the delivery crew due shipping damage. The others i had received one can clearly see the cheap and poor packaging only enough to send across close cities but not long freight.The base fasteners are steel not stainless steel as it should be for boating install. Also they are short for my existing cast aluminum mounting frame.The pressure snap buttons are of steel ... at this point not sure if the snap are or the screws are of steel.Also the lock strap when released from the back section are left dangling and in my case they rub against the floor. If one more receiver were installed at the base, they should be locked there when the seat is upright.Price is good though.
