We’ve always liked Illy coffee (whole bean) so when my husband said he wanted decaf, Illy was the natural choice. We weren’t disappointed. For a decaf, it has a good aroma and flavor. I do brew it a bit stronger than when I use regular coffee, but that’s always the case.

I love my coffee, I'm a puertorrican that grew up with a coffee factory down the street from my house. I like my coffee string, dark and rich. While I was pregnant I could not have my coffee but when my daughter was born I looked for a decaf that I could get the greatness of coffee but decaf while breast feeding. -no caffeine/to litte caffeine while breast feeding- I tried many decaf nd they all failed. This is the best decaf I have tried, even a decaf espresso at Starbucks does not hold a candle to this decaf. It's bold, rich and it's amazing. I was impressed how the taste is the same as non-decaf espresso. If you love coffee like I do and you have to give it up for some reason this is your coffee. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do :). P.S. I was one of those people that said decaf coffee was blasphemy ;)

If you like coffee but watch your caffiene intake pick some of this up. Tastes great, could be priced more aggresively. The taste is full and rich with no bitterness.

Sooo disappointed product arrived without lid. To pay a premium for a product, wait a considerable time and then not be able to keep it fresh feels like a scam.

This decaf was recommended as a good decaf & I would agree. Great quality from Illy, great flavour & i can drink late afternoon & still sleep in the night so win-win.

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste en café comme certains, mais malgré tout j'en consomme pas mal depuis de longues années et j'ai un minimum d'exigences sur la qualité d'un café.J'ai acheté il y a deux ans une machine avec un percolateur de chez Délonghi, modèle très basique mais de qualité suffisante avec comme objectif de retrouver les saveurs des petits expressos "bistros".Depuis deux ans donc je teste des tas de cafés différents à la recherche de perles et de saveurs et en définitive il est très difficile de trouver des cafés déjà moulus de qualité qui restituent pleinement le goûts des bons expressos avec une texture adaptée à ce type de machines.Pour ne pas abuser sur la consommation de caféine j'ai testé ce café illy moulu décaféiné, et je suis impressionné par ses qualités. Il est en totale adéquation avec ma machine, tant sur la texture, que les arômes, parfums et goûts.Et le comble .. il restitue parfaitement le goût de l'expresso de qualité, et se place même bien au dessus de cafés "caféinés" en restaurant. Un comble. Un parfait trompe l’œil gustatif qui permet d'abuser un peu plus de ses bonnes saveurs le soir sans craindre de ne fermer l’œil.Pour le goût .. je retiendrais qu'il est plutôt doux et suave en bouche, une amertume limitée mais présente, les arômes de cafés sont assez ronds. Un côté italien indéniable.Naturellement je recommande.
