I got tired of running out of drip coffee towards the end of the day, and wanted something bigger. No one makes plumbing with unlimited hot coffee on demand. Made 20-25 cups yesterday, good coffee, tastes a bit better than drip, and it's as quick. Minor setbacks: Probably true of all percolators, it leaves about one cup in the bottom, with the finer coffee grounds in it. It is possible to tip it and extract the last. If you have a coffee mug, it's probably an inch or two taller than the spout on the urn, so you have to tilt it under, or move the urn to the countertop edge. Both of these are minor. And fresh coffee can be refrigerated in a glass or suitable plastic container for a day or three after it cools on the counter a bit. Now I plan to make coffee maybe once every four days.

大容量のコーヒーが出来る上に安い
こちらはアメリカの事務所などで定番的に置いてあるコーヒーメーカーです。よく見かけるもので、最大４５カップが作れるという信じられないくらいの大容量仕組みは至って簡単でサイフォン方式に近いものです。容器に作りたい容量の水を入れてコーヒー豆をカゴに入れてセットするだけ。さすがはアメリカ製という事で、日本人の感覚とは少し違い、スイッチがないのでコンセントを入れるとドリップが始まります。ドリップは説明書には１カップの容量で１分かかるという記載がありますが25カップ作った時に30分かかったのでもう少し時間がかかるという印象です。出来上がりは、注入口の上にあるランプが赤く点灯する事で確認出来ます。コチラで淹れたコーヒーは味がいいと思いますし、知り合いの方もそのような感想でした。長所と短所をコメントしたいと思います。長所1 価格が安い。2 味がいい。3 メンテナンスが楽短所1 少量では作れない。（１５杯以上から）2 付属のザルは目が荒いので日本で売られている挽いたコーヒー豆では落ちてしまうので工夫が必要（荒く挽けば大丈夫）3 本体が熱くなるので触らないように注意が必要短所を理解した上で使うのであればこんなに当たりなコーヒーメーカーはないと思います。何と言っても価格が安く、頑丈な作りは他に候補がありません。

1回に沢山のコーヒーが作れる優れもの。古いパーコレーターからの買い替えです。以前のものよりコードは短くなりましたが、使い勝手は全く同じです。お湯を沸騰させるので本体はかなり熱くなります。小さなお子さんがいる場合は気をつけないと火傷します。オーダーしてから2週間位待ちましたが、安い買い物でした。
