For the price, I am very impressed with this stapler so far. It does not have a great deal of weight to it, so I was a little worried at first that it would not work very well. To my surprise it not only lives up to what it claims, but actually performs a lot better than its description. I tested the sheet count first using 15 sheets of regular copy paper which it claims to be able to staple, and I had no trouble. Then I even added 5 more sheets and tried again. Even with 20 sheets total it was able to staple without much difficulty. I will say that there were a couple of times that the staple bent and did not work correctly, but this was while I was holding the stapler in the air. After setting it on the desk and trying that way it worked perfectly. I have not tested this on a bulletin board while it is open, but I doubt it will be problem for this stapler. For the price, its performance is outstanding and I highly recommend this product!

I had a swingline stapler that was considered ergonomic before this one, but it broke very easily. This one though, is very durable and easy to use. I recommend this particular version highly.

I was in need of a stapler in college and decided to grab these bad boys for one simple reason: it's cheap. It gets the job done no problem. From stapling 20 page essays to launching tiny but pointy metals at my friends, it has never failed to satisfy my needs. If you are looking for regular everyday stapler than look no further.These staplers don't come with staples though, which I recommend buying Swingline Standard Staple. It works with this stapler and is dirt cheap as well.Oh, also this stapler has antimicrobial protection against bacteria. I don't know how specifically it is equipped with such protection, but I never got sick from this stapler as far as I know. So that's pretty cool.Overall, great buy.

My nephew, the last baby in his generation, is going off to college this fall to major in science and technology. We are all so proud of him, but he was having a hard time coming up with all of the items on his supply list and I wanted to help him out, so I purchased this Standard Stapler from seller, Swingline. Swingline is a brand that is well known and trusted, and I wanted to get him a quality stapler that would last for many years and one that would be easy to find staple replacements - of course, this takes standard size staples. This stapler can staple as many as 15 sheets of paper, which is less than the usual college paper. This is also an eco-friendly stapler that is made from 50% recycled material which is really cool, and the arm swings open for posting items to bulletin boards and such. This modern design stapler holds a full strip of 210 staples and has a full rubber base so it stays put when you use it. I know that my nephew is going to use this several times every day, and I also know that with proper care this stapler will last for years to come. I’m so happy to have this to give to him. This is THE classic stapler, and it is great! It is sturdy, has heft when you place it on a desk and push down on it (it's no flimsy stapler that you have to squeeze like you're trying to crush it if you want to staple anything...), and is generally just terrific. Would it kill Swingline, however, to throw a few staples in the box with it? My stapler arrived, and it never occurred to me it wouldn't at least have some samples. I had to go buy staples the next day in order to even test the stapler out. So... four stars instead of five for the delayed gratification...

A very budget friendly stapler! Please be aware this is not a high end or heavy duty stapler, but best used for home. It will not staple together a very large amount of papers, but it can staple a decent amount. In fact, I was surprised it stapled together a thick packet I had. It is made from plastic, though Swingline states some of it is recycled material. A good plus. I highly recommend this stapler if you are looking for a good value stapler for your desk.

I got this stapler to replace an earlier one that decided to stop working. It fits nicely into a drawer in the small shelf/stand, atop of which sits my computer/monitor.
DEPENDABLE - LASTS A LONG TIME
Good for stapling medium size documents up to 20 pages. Easy on the wrists. Dependable, I've had mine for years. Wish they had more colour options, though.
I love this stapler
I love this stapler. I use it in the classroom and it has been used a lot by myself and my 10-year old students. I am going to buy a second one!

Really solid feeling stapler.
A good buy
It's nothing to rave about, just does what it's supposed to. Very light weight, but strong, and staples a lot of pages. I wanted a stapler that tacks, and it does it just fine. There's no release button; you just pull up on the top part until it opens. And then it might not look as if it's going to tack, because the bottom part doesn't completely straighten out, but I guess it needs to come at the tacking from a tiny bit of an angle. Hope I explained that okay.
Not "eco"!
Nice enough stapler, but description is misleading...nothing "eco" logical about it.
