The ink is smooth and comes out without getting goopy with lots of writing like other brands. The purple is easy to see without being too bright like red can sometimes be.

I've been using Pentel RSVP pens for 30 years (don't tell anyone I'm old). I've tried the new and flashy gel pens, but they just don't last and they're messy. This is and always will be my go-to pen. Love this brand, and love the fine ink! Great color, no smears, and just all around a great pen.

I'm glad I was able to find these. Reminds me of being in high school in 1996 and passing notes to my friends. These are still THE pens to have. Very qood fine tip quality and comfortable pen grip. Black color is my favorite ink but these come in a few other colors as well.

I don't like to write with any other pen.
I love these pens and got them earlier than expected. The only annoyance is a little sticker on the cap that leaves a little sticky patch. I don't like to write with any other pen than this one and will order them again as well as the refills.
