I have sensitive and dry skin so certain products can cause irritation such as eczema flare ups, redness and burning skin. I have been buying this face cream for years (according to Bolo I’ve bought it 14 times) and have not had any issues whatsoever. It’s a nice rich product without feeling heavy and provides a great deal of hydration. I can wear makeup on top of it without any problems either.

My skincare stats: 30 y/o, Caucasian fair skin, combination with oily T-zone, tendency to have dry patches on cheeks, and red undertones, very sensitive to new products, easily breaks out in response to topical oil.I ordered this cream about a month ago when I ran out of my Caudalie cream and didn't feel like going back to Sephora for something else. I ordered this one on Bolo because of all the high ratings and great reviews. So far, I've been using it for about a month every day--in the mornings under foundation, and at night after cleansing, exfoliation, toner, serum and ampoule.Right after ordering the product on Bolo, I realized that I actually had zero cream left, and went out to Walgreens and purchased a jar of this stuff in store, thinking I could give the Bolo one to my husband if I don't like it. So I can comment on the difference between the in-store and Bolo creams: there is none. They are absolutely the same--packaging and product itself.So what ended up happening was when I received the online product, I ended up giving the store product to my husband after all, but not because I don't like it--but because he himself ran out of his moisturizer.This is a review of the online purchase.The cream itself is thick and "creamy," but sort of light in texture. It goes on smoothly onto a cleansed and toned skin. I put it all over my face, including my T-zone, eyes and around the lips. I was initially skeptical of the claim that it won't clog pores. However, since using it for a month now, I have not had any breakouts or detrimental changes to my skin. As far as the anti-wrinkle claim, I haven't seen any changes so far. I have several glabella wrinkles, and multiple horizontal wrinkles on my forehead, and these have stayed exactly the same.What I do like about this crème is its ability to moisturize so well without leaving a sticky or oily film. I have to say that it stands up against the higher priced brands out there, and I have certainly tried many of these over the last 10 years. The amount of product in the container is quite generous as well, so overall this is a great value for the money.I plan to continue using this product until it runs out. Will this product reduce wrinkles and firm up skin? YES. Is it effective and will you see results? Yes. Will you look 25 again? NO. Will it shave some years off with consistent use yes? I am 48 years old. Before using this cream, I had no skin care routine at all. Washed my face in the morning, and at night and I did use a moisturizer, but nothing for improvement of mature skin. It glides easily and absorbs quickly. After 4 weeks of consistent use I see a difference. My friends thought I was getting fillers and Botox. I don’t think so, but they asked what I did. I told them about the cream and they are hooked. When I put make up on over cream, my make up looks better and shaves off some more years. It’s not magic. But you will see a difference. These pictures were taken after my morning run. No make up, just the cream and Aquaphor on my lips. I am approaching 50 and I am not mad this product. I love it. Try it.

This product is reasonably priced for the quality. I have used it for years as part of my facial routine. I have switched to using it in the mornings. To simplify during travel, I will usually just bring this product vs. multiple moisturizers. I love the feel of it. It is thick and my dry skin appreciates the hydration. As you age, you will probably need additional products since this one doesn't have some of the suggested ingredients, but this still feels pretty amazing for budget conscious women. And you can always pair it with something more expensive, using it an alternate time of the day, so your other products last longer. Some of my other products don't even feel as nice, honestly.
