I wanted to buy this movie for a very long time, still love it, pretty good picture & sound quality considering when it was made, very entertaining, reminds me of when I was a lot younger, lol, glad I finally decided to buy it from Bolo! Great seller! Thanks!

I am so late with this review...I bought this for the first Christmas with my future children's father back in 2007. I try to pay attention to the things people mention regarding what they like, what they favorites are, etc. and he had mentioned that 'Colors' was one of his favorite movies but that he couldn't find it anywhere to purchase it. (He wasn't that up to speed in regards to online shopping.) Bolo, of course, had it and so I purchased it.Had I known that he didn't even remember to buy me a gift I don't think I would have put in the effort. When I came over on Christmas Eve I had my gift in hand so he ran upstairs and threw a bunch of random items in a box and gave it to me...unwrapped even. There were some mixtapes (of which he had thousands), some hair ties, some batteries and some Chapstick.Yeah...its the thought that counts however it was clear with this gift that there was no thought at all.***sigh***

Robert Duval and Sean Penn both give outstanding performances in this movie. the movie, on the other hand, is good but not great. Penn plays a rookie cop, with a temper, learning the beat. Duval is the veteran, with a cool head, respected by the cops as well as the gangs. duval quickly learns that he must teach penn the ways to keep him alive. a definate watchable movie

Being a gang cop for over 25 years in Los Angeles, can completely relate to this film. More like a documentary. My nick name was/is also "Pacman" have it engraved on my academy graduation ring. Tony Moreno was a good friend of mine and did consulting for this film. Used to watch it every year to get me pumped up after a nice long vacation. I remember watching this in the theater opening night. Half the audience was cops, probation, etc and the other half gangsters. The atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Dennis Hopper was a great director/writer. I love to watch this on my Sony 60" screen with sound around stereo system on about 90. The entire room shakes.....I think some of my neighbors ducked during some of the shooting scenes, LOL.

This is one of my favorite movies that I have seen Duval and Penn are great in this movieIt is about being a cop working the beat and being mixed up in the middle of the Crypts Bloods and other minor gangs in the area , showing what the cops went through at those times in history and how some cops would sometimes cut some guys a break but could wind up regretting it I would spoil any of the movie for you thats all Iam gonna say Rent or buy it , either way you must see itHighly Recomended

Schickes Mediabook zu einem Cop Klassiker
Ich hatte den Film vor Ewigkeiten Mal im TV gesehen.Dann gab es das Mediabook für unter 10€. Dafür konnte ich es nicht stehen lassen und musste es in meine Sammlung einziehen lassen. Die Qualität des Buches ist super. Schönes Cover auf Vorder und Rückseite, interessantes booklet mit vielen Informationen zum Film.Den Film muss ich nochmal schauen, um dazu was zu sagen ist es zu lange her.
