The Stanley hand drill is an ideal drill for the homeowner or woodworker. Hand drills are for drilling pilot holes up to 1/4" diameter. They have a chuck that holds the bits and pinion gears to increase chuck speed and allow faster, more effective drilling. Stanley drill point accessory sets not included. These drill point accessory sets include eight drill points ranging from 1/16" to 11/64".

Was turned onto this hand drill for, guess what, not drilling. With a little bit of modification I use them to tie fly fishing leaders, who knew. Perfect number of turns and leader done. Great product

This is a high quality hand drill from days gone by. It is very useful in drilling holes in wood and plastic. My hand push drill was just to slow if used for multiple holes.

I paid the high price for this hand drill because I thought it would have a 2-gear drive like the Stanley drills from the 1970s. Still a fine drill, but not the same as two Stanley drills I bought in the early 1970s that still work perfectly.

I ordered this not realizing that it would take almost a month to arrive here in the US from the UK, but my fault on that one, and I didn't rate it any lower based on that.However, after arriving today, I wanted to try it out with a small bit (1/8") so I could show my 6 year old son how to use it. Good thing I tried it before showing him. This workmanship on this drill is so bad that I couldn't even drill a 1/8" hole 1-inch deep. There is so much play in the gears that you can't keep it spinning. The gears skip and the disc that you spin wobbles like crazy.Not really sure what else to say. As there are other options for hand drills at similar prices, I wouldn't risk your time on this one. Maybe you'll get lucky and get one of the ones that the 5-star reviewers got. Or, if you'd like to try to re-engineer the attachment of the pieces. But why not try for a working tool first.

First, this is a handy little hand drill ideal for doing jobs where the chances of going wild with a power tool are entirely too great. I love the thing and shall be using it (again) today to seat pegs in a metal-free box I am putting together. But. Wait. It gets better. There was a minor glitch in the delivery process. The gals and guys bent over backwards to make it right--far above and beyond the call of duty. They should get a medal--or at least an hot cup of coffee. Seriously. I am very, very impressed with the product and the service. Thank you.

Bonjour. vraiment bien, la concentricité est bonne J'habite dans un immeuble et pour les petits tavaux de perçage, le bois et le plastique (goulottes), même en respectant les horaires du réglement de copropriété, je préfére utiliser une chignole ( introuvable en magasin de bricolage ).Quand j'ai tourné la manivelle, il y avait un petit bruit de "presse purée", avec de l'huile de machine à coudre, j'ai lubrifié, sans excès, les engrenages ainsi que les parties tournantes et maintenant c'est bon. Ce petit appareil est de qualité et doit être utilisé en fonction de ses performances. Pour un tour de manivelle, le mandrin tourne d'environ quatretours, pour un perçage d'un diamètre de deux millimètres, pour effectuer un avant trou dans du stratifié (en vue de fixer une vis de diamètre 4), ça va à merveille.j'ai l'impression d'avoir un jouet entre les mains, c'est marrant!.Pour les grincheux qui se jettent sur la sonnette pour se plaindre du bruit de perçage de la perceuse électrique de 500 W, je tiens à dire que les mixers à légumes font deux fois plus de bruit, sans respecter les horaires du réglement de copropriété.

Ein Stern für die schnelle Lieferung. Dieser Boherer ist totaler Müll. Mein Sohn 10 , kann ihn alleine nicht her nehmen. Immer wieder drehen beim Kurbeln die Zacken durch. Beim ersten aufschrauben um den Bohrer ein zu setzen, ist eine Feder raus gehüpft die das Gewinde haltet.
