Bought this a while ago. Has held up great the last couple years, I bought it to replace a 10 year old one of the same brand and HP. Was easy-to-install and works well. Haven't noticed any leaks. Overall it's a great value for the cost to order here and install yourself.

For a basic model, this one performs really well.Installation was pretty straightforward—I’m no plumber, but with a little patience and a YouTube video, I had it swapped in under an hour. It’s compact and fits nicely under my sink without taking up much space.Once installed, it ran much quieter than I expected for a 1/3 HP unit. It handles everyday scraps like vegetable peels, small bones, and food leftovers without a problem. First off, the disposal that was installed when our home was built was the model 1-87. I couldn't find that exact model so I settled on the Badger 100 as it looked like a newer version of the 1-87. The original disposal came with the quick replacement ring, which made it all very simple.The Badger 100 is relatively quiet but I don't have much of a list of disposals to compare it to. It is quieter than the one that I had replaced.The installation was simple. Disconnect the power and put a bowl and/or towels under the sink to catch any water. Disconnect the existing drain and in my case, the dishwasher line. Twist off the old disposal. I had planned ahead and bought a replacement power cord but ended up not needing it due to the existing cord being perfectly fine. I disconnected the power cord from the old disposal and connected it to the new one before installing it. NOTE: I didn't see it documented but a YouTube video pointed out that the ribbed wire needed to be connected to the hot wire (white). I just matched up what the old one had to the new one. Line up the new disposal, give it a twist and before tightening it, make sure the connections all line up. Loosely make the connections. Using the tool in the box, tighten it down and lastly tighten the connections. Plug it in, run some water and run the disposal to check for leaks.Couldn't be happier with the ease of the installation and the fact that it only cost about $100.
AMAZON SELLS A USELESS PRODUCT TO THE ENGLISH MARKET
This product is absolutely useless. There was no mention when it was ordered on my English account that this product is not suitable for the English market. It was delivered and was fitted according to the instructions and it was only when the product kept cutting out that on further investigation I found that it was an American voltage of 120 whereas we need 240 volts in England. I have therefore wasted £118 plus fitting costs. HOW CAN Bolo SELL SUCH A PRODUCT IN ENGLAND. HOW WILL I BE COMPENSATED????
