Not the greatest of versions that I have read. Felt the content was diluted. Please save your dollars.

I enjoy this book as it is giving lot of information of pre-historic events before Rama. Easy and joy to read.

Exhilarating Read
Ramayana, a timeless tale which has been heard many many times & has so many versions. The freshness to read and experience Dushyantji's version is so intact along with his Bhakti to Narayana overflowing in the pages, that takes the reader along too.The narration of stories within stories and many many nuggets of dharmashastras discussed by many character adds immense value to the readers. Also, commendable is the size of the chapters which don't exceed 2 pages, each.Chapter 108 is my most favourite chapter that extols wisdom about seshatvam. Looking forward to the next volume where blessed Lord Hanuman makes his appearance along with many other interesting characters.Overall a highly recommend read to increase knowledge about Satana Dharma.
Epic written for current times
"Ramayanam" by Dushyanth Sridhar - an epic written for current times. A easy and breezy ready yet deep and touching. 108 chapters are short and easy to finish in one sitting. A mix of english and samskritam, as I understand both languages is easy to understand but those who don't - it encourages the reader to check out meanings of the words online ! Great art from Keshav both on cover and within the book. Highly reccomend a read.
Dushyant Sridhar's Ramayana
Every kid who have been raised in an Indian family would be familiar with the epic mythology, Ramayana, There are many life lessons that this epic teaches us and summing up the entire book in a single review is quite difficult.The narration offers vivid description of the whole incident and the language is fluid and at the same time stresses on the important words for enhancement. All in all, I loved the narration.Though the plotline is of the epic Purana, it would be rightly categorised as a self-help/philosophical read. So, if you are looking for a book that could clear your thoughts and offer you direction, this book can prove to be a motivating read.
