Bought this book as a gift. Giftee is collecting nice books for a library. This book was for reading not for the collection. But I couldn't pass up this nice outside. He absolutely Loved the cover! And pages looked and felt very nice quality. The book is super thick, so I believe the font is a decent size too. I have vision issues so not a good gage on readability. This has the finer details of a more expensive book. Worth the little extra $$.

Good reading and a glossary of places and things to see. Keep your search engine handy to look up places and sayings. Very well written.

Bought this for my granddaughter (her favorite book). She absolutely loved it! Very good quality, binding looks very expensive. She will always cherish.

Purchased this book, as it was a beloved novel from my childhood that I wanted to make sure was on my shelf in anticipation of my own children who are nearing the age of being able to pick it up and read it themselves. Beautiful and well constructed, it looks like it can take the abuse of a young person tossing it into their backpack and thrashing it about. What leaves me feeling suspect is that there is no person attributed to the translation. Assuming this book is taken from the public domain and bound. This would be fine, but I wish credit was given where credit is due. Tried to visit publisher website to find this information, but this proved a dead end as well. Shipping and condition were ideal.

I am pleased with this book. It will add a great addition to my book shelves. I have seen movie versions of this book but I decided to read the book to compare. I love the feel of a book in hand and and like to keep books on my build in shelves for others to read or for me to read again to pass the time. Reading a book can be like watching a movie more than once and just as good the second time around.

This book is very large and beautiful. Love the gorgeous gold pages. I just wish I had enough time to read it more! Definitely a statement piece.

Superb show piece and very smart when part of a "Fingerprint" collection. Note, these books are not intended for "rough" reading, more of copies of books that look smart for books you've already read. If you plan to read these, you just have to be a bit more careful :-)

Good but the paper quality is bad
The book itself is very good, but the paper quality is disappointing. The pages are extremely thin, so the print shows through and makes it difficult to read comfortably. Sometimes the printing sticks, with one sheet glued slightly to another. Overall, the production feels cheap, which takes away from the enjoyment of the book.

Bought the book as a gift to a friend. Great showpiece item, as well as great classic content. What more do you need? Read and enjoy!
