This is my color reference for just about everything, whether you need help combining colors for your outfits or are making design choices , its a great resource. Text and layout is aesthetically appealing from a graphic design perspective too, totally recommend if you need color references for your day to day and love vintage japanese color combinations

A wonderful little book, suitable for the pocket, with only the fly and the color names in English. The fact that the rest is in Japanese (in both the upper and lower forms) isn't important because the vivid colors speak for themselves and the combinations of selected colors are brilliant. This is filled with important colors on display, and how they relate to one another in these great comparative selections.

I agree with other reviewers that this little book is great - it has a nice feel to it and a great little size. It took me a while to catch on to the organization (all text is in Japanese), but essentially it organizes 159 different colors into combinations of 2, 3, and 4 - then indicates what page it is on for each combination of that color. The back pages of colors are one sided so (I'm guessing) can be cut off into strips to play around with to make your own combinations - or match elsewhere. That makes this part work book, a nice touch!Some of the color combinations allowed me to see my wardrobe a little differently, a very good thing! Some of the color combinations I find to be too weird. However, the reason I got this reference book of colors is because of my own painting compositions and I know it will prove to be useful.

Absolutely love this book for color coordinating. There are many videos on YouTube. If you need to know how to use it it’s very simple. You don’t need to read or no Chinese to be able to navigate this book. Wonderful purchase.

Apesar de pequeno e ter capa simples é um livro referência que deve ser incorporado à sua biblioteca. Um incoveniente é que ele não é totalmente bilíngue. Claro, temos que considerar que as combinações foram concebidas nos anos 30 do século passado e muita coisa já não é tão aplicável.
