I purchased this item so that the adults in my family can have an advent calendar too. We had a lot of fun working through the puzzles. Honestly, we loved it! The ability to get hints and check answers via QR codes was a great idea. We do have some notes/comments below, but they are just to help with your future products. Those who are looking to purchase, please note that we did love the item, but like most things, it needs some polishing up. I am going to do my best not to spoil any of the answers; however, consider this your spoiler alert, just in case.We would like a full plot. We saved Santa but do not know anything about the who or why. Although my family has some crazy plots we came up with ourselves, we want to know what really happened.Some of the hints were not really hints but instead stated the obvious so we had to use two hints. That may not be a big deal to most; however, when you spend an hour trying not to use a hint and then actually use one, it is not appreciated.There were a few grammatical and sentence structure errors, so proofreading is suggested.Here are some puzzle-specific ones that I will not tell you which puzzle (avoiding spoilers); however, you know what you did...- "Activates" is not a holiday word.- "Santa Claus" is two words.- Although whole numbers can have unnecessary decimals and coordinates have decimals, it is clear that telling us to get a decimal number when actually asking for two coordinates is misleading. The math even never had decimals in it.- Ignore the numbers, including 3, yet to get the correct answer you have to include a 3.- If you are going to have clues that require colors, offer a color purchase option for those who don't want to work off a digital color version.- This is probably a cultural thing, but a comforting tablet is a Xanax or similar medication; without the hint, we would not have gotten that one.I hope these help with next year's book, we are looking forward to it!

I struggle to put into words just how ridiculous these puzzles are without simply spoiling them. The gaps/leaps in logic required for any of it to make sense is like listening to a drunken liberal arts student trying to explain what the engineering students do. This might be fun if you're into "puzzles" that amount to little more than looking for random patterns in things and assuming those coincidences carry deep meaning. But if you actually appreciate clear communication and/or know how things actually work, this thing is absolutely infuriating.Note that it can't actually even be completed without using your phone. There are both missing colors (it's in black and white) and at least one sound puzzle that can only be pulled up online.
Teens will love this!
My 14 year old daughter love this one, not to hard that it takes forever and multiple people to figure it out. She has fun figuring out the different riddles, clues and messages she has to decode.

Throughly enjoyed this book, had such a good time and would recommend to a family or alone. After working through the book I have to say that the whole experience was a delight. The puzzles were fun and challenging. Loved the Christmas riddles, a must have for Christmas time

This is not a child’s puzzle to solve, it takes thought and skill to solve. My husband is really enjoying his daily adventure puzzle, sooo worth it

After working through the book I have to say that the whole experience was a delight. The puzzles were well formed and sometimes challenging. The hints and solutions were well worded and easy to use.I would recommend to a fellow puzzle lover, from beginners all the way through to experts you will definitely enjoy some aspects of this book.
