If your kids like Eric Carle they will love this book and the little figurines that come with it. Lots of fun using the figurines while reading the book as well playing with them separately. The back of the book has a built in box to store the figurines.

The quality of the little animals are so great and they are so sturdy and cute. My two year old loves this set. It also has this huge paper mat that you can place all the animals on which is great for storytelling.

I am a retired early childhood teacher and I have a special place in my heart for Eric Carle books. I purchased this to share with my one year old grandson. We love the book and the little characters that match the illustrations. There is also a play mat. The spine of the book split on day one, so I reinforced the book with clear tape. The play mat is fairly light weight paper and will not last unless I cover it with clear contact paper. The animals are small to fit in the book, but they are well made and will last.It's a favorite item in grandma's book box.

My baby is obsessed with Eric Carle. He's 18 months & we read his books on repeat. I couldn't help myself & bought this despite the 3 & up age limit. My baby loves it. I decided to decorate his doorway with the toys for now since he's still too young to really play with them. We read the book though & love the toys 🐛🐻🐸

This book is cute! And the figures that come with it are excellent quality. We have many books like this and usually you get badly-painted figures that are a little flimsy sometimes. But these toys included are thick and surprisingly pretty big compared to toys from other books we have. The only flimsy one is the butterfly and according to reviews the wings can snap easily, but I just don’t let my kids flap the wings and so it has not broken on us. We’ve had this book for 8 months so far. Very very happy with it.

I was on the fence about these busy books becaue they don’t really share pictures of all the figurines or the play mat... but I took a chance and it’s awesome! I got this to keep my kid busy and quiet during church and I’m not disappointed. The figurines are sturdy, the book talks about each figurine included, and the play mat is large (maybe 24x36in... I haven’t measured, just an estimate).The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the construction of the “book.” The book pages are like a board book and are perfect. But the construction of the back of the book that holds the toys and play mat is flimsy, held together by tape. If I were to remove the clear plastic covering (held on by the tape) the pieces would freely move around, making traveling with it pretty impossible. So I’ve kept the plastic and tape in place, though I don’t think it will have longevity with constant play. Otherwise for the price it’s amazing! Toys, a book, and a play mat for around $10-12 is really reasonable, considering that buying most toy figurines can be that much or more on their own.

Great children’s book
This title is one of my all-time favourite children’s books. I gave this one as baby shower gift, and the fact that it came with interactive pieces made it extra special. The mother to be was delighted. It arrived quickly and was a good value for the price paid.
