An enjoyable story about life, relationships and the progress of time
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were believable, the writing style was so fluid and assured. So many books I find clunky or full of pointless similes and descriptions that take me out of the story. This one felt like it glided by; I felt I understood the characters and their nuances without having to think too much about it. And because the subject matter isn't really aimed at me, I felt I learned something too - although I could actually connect with a lot of the themes around aging and managing relationships. Look forward to reading more by the author.

Blown away by Ramune Luminaire's book...it is so beautifully written with such gorgeous use of language. The depth of Ramune's research is incredible. Women 'of a certain age' (mine!) will especially relate to it!! It's packed with humour and generally and fabulous and gripping read.
Excellent page turner. A remarkable first novel.
This is an excellent read. It is a well written account of a woman who falls in love in late middle age and finds herself a variety of medical and social challenges, not least because she has a habit of falling for men who less than completely trustworthy. It's a real page-turner with a liberal garnish of spicy eroticism.Highly recommended.
A roller coaster read
The plot's twists and turns ensures the reader keeps turning the pages!
