The seller I had gotten this from didn't disclose some sort of slight water damage, but it's understandable as is being sold as a brand new book, they may not have noticed is at all and it isn't significant. It seems like a humidity problem.Otherwise the art in this book is wonderful and cute and sweet. Perfect for kirby fans.

It's a Kirby art book! Provably the most adorable art book ever made.First of all let's get bad out of the way, since it has a slipcover to it it's obviously bound to get damaged easily on the slipcover itself... Which is a shame because it does look really good with some of the lettering shiny and kirby. Mine did get a few scruffle marks but nothing to cry about.-1 star for that but putting 5 stars because there are morons who think Bolo customer service actually reads these reviews, they do not read them the only approve them 9 times out of 10 So please don't put 1 star because your crying about UPS having signature authorization and or edit your coment.Second of all the book it's self is really good, the actual hardcover under the slipcover has a bunch of different kirbys through the decades It's adorable and cool. It's just basically a whoooole bunch of kirby art with the back pages having more to do with kirby merchandising with all sorts of different kirby logos and I think some game covers are in there as well.There really isn't any "sketchs" of kirby it seems like it's pretty much all digitally drawn apart from certain art pieces because well it's not exactly the hardest character to draw. But ya it has concept art of kirbys enemys, various kirby art pieces from various artists, etc. Overall it's just a really well done cute kirby artbook I freaken love it adding to my growing collection of artbooks.A must buy for any lovers of our favorite pink ball kirby.

Overall this book has a ton of great art from many different kirby games over the years. Almost 300 pages of art, which is great. My biggest complaints are the scattered table of content (not one in the beginning of the book but multiple scattered throughout) and the fact the the art of different games are scattered all over the book, not into their own sections where you can find all the art of one game at a time (which is frustrating because you wanted to look at all the art from say kirby squeak squad, you would have to find it flipping through the whole book, picking out the squeak squad art throughout). I also wished they had a little more art going through the rough sketches to a finished piece, but there is some which is greatly appreciated. Love the section where they have art from merchandising and toys, it was a nice surprise and not something you always see in art books. Really cute that they had a collection of fan art that some of the artists drew who did the kirby art over the years at the end of the book. Overall really great book, would recommend for any kirby fan (or fans of cute/kawaii art styles)

I would like to start by saying that the rating on the actual product shouldn't have anything to do with whether your shipper required a signature or not since that entirely depends on where you live. My book did not require one and it was just left at my door like any other package.Now onto the actual artbook itself. It is essentially a collection of all art related to kirby in the past 25 years sorted by games to include the cover art and graphics of enemies/bosses/ etc. There is also a section on merchandise, as in, the graphics that appear on cases/stationary/stickers etc. The overall coverage is pretty extensive. However, if you are expecting a lot of concept art/test describing the work process there are only a few of them, and most involve kirby's abilities. Regardless, the art if very clean and polished and it sometimes reminds me of a sticker book.Overall if you are a fan of kirby I think you will enjoy this book.

Gift for my sis! I don’t know how anyone can stay sad after looking through this colorful book. Combo this with a kirby music playlist on youtube and it’s instant happy.Also want to note that some of the other reviews mention a lack of variety in the art, that it’s mostly reprints of existing official art/box art and lacks concept artwork/descriptions - but that’s what a style guide is. Style guides are meant as a reference to maintain a particular style, staying true to color palettes and character designs. It’s neat seeing all the generations of kirby art in one place and the subtle changes that took place throughout the years.

The book is more than I expected. It is strictly kirby art and has no filler. A wonderful collection that I am excited to own!Unfortunately, the slipcase is too large for the book. It came scuffed and crinkled. The hardcover book and the pages were great at least!
