Fast paced, nifty gamer novel, with a strange twist. Chars learn about themselves as they struggle to escape the point they’re stuck at.It’s not necessarily staged so as to have a sequel, but I would certainly read one if it appears!I’m way outta the age range for this book (and I’m only a second hand gamer), but I really liked it!

Dillon and his friends Mia and Klaan can't wait to play video games together after school. But Dillon can't be bothered learning his chemistry lesson, and his space pistol is the worst weapon ever. Can Dillon progress in in the game by using a cheat code? And why do the three of them keep repeating the day of the chemistry quiz?They soon find out that repeating the same day brings consequences and when they see themselves start to fade away they know they have to find a way out of this time loop.Go with Dillon and his friends on an unexpected adventure. Three friends find themselves reliving the same day over and over again because of a glitch in the video game they've been playing. Their journey is fast-paced, suspenseful and funny as the three race against time to win the game or lose their lives.

I have recently become a fan of Rob Baddorf's books. I'm a Christian school teacher and want to fill my classroom library with books that kids will enjoy reading, but also have a Biblical message. Several books by Rob Baddorf fit the bill, and I was excited about this book, knowing I will have some students interested in gaming in my class next school year. Don't get me wrong, the story is cool and appropriate. It IS going in the class library, but it was definitely a missed opportunity for incorporating Biblical themes in a book that will interest so many kids.

Fantastic read for my son, centered on video games! 3 middle-grade gamers find themselves in a time loop that results from dying in the game. Each repeat gives them the chance to make a difference…or have some fun!
