Window is a very engaging lead character, unassuming, soft spoken until he is challenged. His detective skills and his determined self preservation take on all crooks and villains. His unknown past adds to the suspense. A Fun read, a strong 4.5.

Book 4 of the Jack Widow series.If you're looking at this book then you've probably been along for the ride as Widow grows into his new lifestyle, that of a drifter. If this is the first book you're looking at in the series, then, by all means, feel free to pick this one up but you probably should pick up the first three as well.That's the way I did it and just like Netflix, it's so satisfying to be able to binge on a series knowing that there's another one, except in this case it's the last one, for now.This book was by far the tensest of the four, even though it may not have dealt with the biggest consequences, it does deal with a subject that is on most people's minds. Domestic terrorism. It confronts some of the issues in today's world where everyone seems in such a hurry to label and draw conclusions, long before the facts are in.Widow's wondering ways have landed him smack dab in the middle of something many of us fear. A blue on blue attack. Even before the blood has dried, surety of guilt has been established and Widow finds himself rousted out of bed and rolled up as a suspect in an event that has national implications.I think if Widow could have watched this from the sidelines like we readers do, he'd shake his head and say, "never let facts get in the way of a good story" but he doesn't have that luxury.It soon becomes apparent that Widow maybe the only one looking at the facts and not the assumptions. Gaining the trust of the people he will need to right this wrong won't be easy. There's a lot of tension and a case like this makes or breaks careers.A great story for a great series that just continues to get better and better. Do yourself a favor and click "BUY" and get started on another wild journey with the fascinatingly brutal justice that few can dish out like Jack Widow.

This was an excellent read and throughly enjoyable! I am having so much fun reading this series. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Really liked the posting to figure out what was really happening. Very creative in a good sense. It took a while to get people to trust widow but, they were the good guys. Really a great story and could not put this one down.

A man shoots himself on a marine base in what appears to be a homicide. Widow is in a diner and notices a man in Camo uniform with a gun strapped to his side and a big brute of a man nearby observing when Widow joins him at the table and asks questions as he sees the guy is upset but he won't talk. The guy then apparently goes on a rampage at the base killing people before killing himself. The guys sister approaches Widow and shows a video on her phone that her brother sent and you can hear shots in the background. Widow now is out to prove Turik's innocence but what does he uncover along the way?? Fast paced edge of your seat read

"Without Measure" by Author Scott Blade is his best book yet, I believe, and is sure to be another winner with other readers! Jack Widow has rolled into a small town in Northern California named Hamber. He gets drawn into a situation at the nearby Arrow's Peak Marine Base, involving mass murder and suicide! Jack Widow isn't just your average drifter; like character Jack Reacher, Widow is a former highly decorated warrior, Navy NCIS Agent and SEAL. When he helps, he HELPS!This storyline just pops; continuous tension and suspense as Widow tries to figure out what has really happened at this Marine Base. There are lots of surprises and curveballs. Great action and characterizations. A timely story that is an engrossing and entertaining read!

Outstanding in all respects to my view.Exciting, captivating and very believable characters. Every bit as enjoyable as the Jack Reacher stories; similar but different.I am moving through the rest of the series.
Great series
Good paced stories that you never want to put down. Easy to visualise the scene and lose yourself in the story.
Unexpectedly good
This is my first read by this author. Jack Widow reminds you of Reacher. Overall a good read with a good storyline, suspense and thrills. Looking forward to read the others of the series.

Stories are predictable but series is getting better with each book..this one had right amount of thrill and action, a bit more suspense is required
