This is such a fascinating read. It’s incredible how something that can be written so long ago is now still so relebant!I love how easy it is to pick up and put down. Only have 5 mins to read at a time? This is the book for you! Makes me feel so filled up after reading little snippets. Such great life advice!

It’s a good quality paperback. Fine for school. I can’t comment on the translation and some people care a lot about that but as far as I can tell this is a fine edition.

Timeless Wisdom, Challenging Translation
Timeless wisdom from a truly great man. This tome is more challenging to read than a modern translation. Personally, I love it, but then again, I'm pretentious.
Wisdom That is Never Outdated
I was introduced to Stoic philosophy and Emperor Marcus Aurelius' Meditations through a popular podcast a while back. They suggested the George Long translation, which offers more vintage and classic English. I wasn't disappointed.Filled with practical wisdom, this version of Meditations is both pleasant to read and beautifully illustrated throughout. Highly recommended!

Great translated version of the workings it represents. Easy to read and digest it's points.

It’s written in old English since it’s a true translation to the original material written by Marcus. Additionally, it’s permanently life changing as the material is very well preserved and articulated in such a way that it’s applicable to the modern day.
