Enjoyed the book and definitely would recommend. Bishop takes the word evangelism from a scary word in the church and helps the reader to see and find easy ways to share the gospel and their local church.It was an easy read that I completed in a couple of hours. Have already purchased one copy for a friend and recommended the book to a few others! Definitely recommend and am planning on rereading it in the next month to begin putting some of the ideas into practice.

This book has something for everyone in the Church: pastor? ✅; worship team? ✅; trustee? ✅; regular attender? ✅; Jesus lover? ✅!The stories Shane uses in this book are relatable because they are clearly not about perfect people, himself included, and they all point to the Good News that is offered in Jesus Christ - the entire point of the book.If you have always wanted to be able to share the good news of what Jesus has done in your life, but been afraid to, Shane offers you both encouragement and some practical tips. If you are a church leader who has been trying to encourage your people to invite their friends and neighbors to worship with you, Shane's got you covered.I invite you to read this book, then try some of its strategies. I know I will.

This is an excellent book about evangelism. It gives a clear definition, suggestions, and ways to evangelize. This book should be taught to every believer so they know the impact and ways to tell others about Jesus. It has propelled me to do more!

The reason I gave this book four stars is because when I read reviews, I often find those reviews that give less than five stars are sometimes more honest. If I could’ve given this book 4 1/2 stars, I would have. The reason being is this book does not give you everything you need to be an evangelist. It does have some wonderful ideas and strategies for sharing the good news of Jesus. There is ample questions to ask your own congregation and team in regards to how to prepare for those who will come to your doors. The book also contains several great stories, and lots of scripture for you to chew on as you begin to develop a plan for evangelism. However, the secret sauce that is needed won’t be found in this book. As Rev. Shane so well points out, the secret sauce is you. Are you willing to be used by the Holy Spirit to either offer a simple invitation to come to church and see the grace of God at work, or the more profound invitation to meet Jesus, as you pray for them?If your answer to either of those questions, guess this book is for you.

What an exceptional book to read! Easy ways to invite people to church, tell someone about Jesus, and increase growth for a church. Easy to read, easy to understand, not overwhelming in length, just good information to learn how to evangelize. Pastor Shane L. Bishop gets right to the point, adds some real life experiences, and a bit of humor along the way. Once you start reading you won’t want to stop.What are you waiting for?

Shane’s verse by verse commentary on the parables shared by Jesus are outstanding. He gives very practical tips on sharing our faith, but more importantly, drives home why we must evangelize. The church needs a renewed focus on making disciples of Jesus Christ and this book, in my estimation, will be a critical catalyst in making this happen. Read this book, share this book and share the Good News with as many as you can!
