My kids are excited to get started. We plan on using this to memorize scripture and I want to use it as a reference guide as well. Something to keep using even after coloring the pages.I just received it so I don't have but one day of experience with it but my 10, 5 & 3 year old love it so far.I'll try to update later on and let you know how its going. We'll see if we come up with any other ways to use the book :)Thanks Sarah and crew for this book!

I was gifted this Journal from Sarah Janisse Brown of The Thinking Tree and I have to say, absolutely love it!While it may be compact in size, it is definitely robust with content for teaching young children about 50 different character traits and values.It would be great for any fun-schooler during bible class or free time. It would make a wonderful addition to a youth group. Heck, thinking about it, it would make an excellent devotional to do with your children prior to bed or as a family!This specific journal is geared more toward a younger beginner level child. (Between ages 4-8). They will read the verse multiple times with an adult, then they will read it back to you, color in the words, and draw a picture for each verse/trait.Really, this little journal is a gem! I believe I’m keeping this one to go along with my Mom School basket 😊

Thought this book was going to be regular size book it was not. I was a little disappointed in the size of the book. Although my daughter seemed to love it.( Haven't started it yet.) I do think that should have been put in the description. (May have been and I just over looked it.)
