We have a TON of books—can’t get enough of them—but these books are some of my favorite. They are so beautifully illustrated, and the materials used feel so premium. Most importantly, you can tell that the stories are very thoughtfully written to support language development. I love that as I try to avoid books that don’t have much of a point— I feel many baby and toddler books are very fluffed up “I love you” books. Those have their place, but I love the feeling of introducing my kids to words and scenarios they may not otherwise become familiar with at such a young age.This set would be an amazing gift for any baby or child.

This was a1yo birthday gift at the parents' request for no gifts, or books if we felt less to gift. They came in a really nice box and appear sturdy. Definitely gift worthy.

I really love this series. It has beautiful art and I love the stories simple, quaint, and it is one of the few books I can read on repeat without me loosing my mind. I am looking forward to getting more of these books from this author/artist. Keep up the great work!

I think it's an amazing baby shower gift. These beautiful books have an incredible tactile experience for the adults and a very soft and mellow visual.The watercolour imagery is beautiful and calm but in book it seems even more faded out than (likely) in realityThe stories aren't as engaging due to this for toddlers imo. The favourite pages (same as in wishy washy) are the last page with all the individual items listed.If you're interested in buying a gift set for toddlers+ parents, the absolute best out there, hands down, is the Gerda Muller 4 seasons.I love Tabitha Paige's story and am happy to support her, but these books make little sense if you're into Montessori-stuff (despite having realistic images). Animals that look like real animals interract similar to humans, some eat their proper foods others eat foods that animal would not actually eat etc.But we know all this in the preview and going into the purchase.They're beautiful books to have in the nursery with a baby that doesn't yet actively engage with them, and can truly provide a nice peaceful material for parents to read out loud (with the occasional picture) to their newborns during the time the books don't have to be very engaging.I personally was a little disappointed they weren't a big hit neither with my own toddler and neither the children we gifted them to, however they are always very gratefully recieved by the adults who could use a break from all the loud and flashy children's items they are bombarded with day and night.The combination of this fact and Tabitha Paige's personal life story makes these books a great way to support their family while giftin people something beautiful alongside the good deed. You will not make a mistake, just adjust your expectations.If you want a hit for kids under 1,5, go for Babies and Doggies/kitties/... or Busy Busy series. And for toddlers 1,5-3 certainly opt for Gerda Muller, those books truly are stunningly beautiful for both, me and the kiddo who absolutely adores them. Aside from a book with 100 animal sounds those are the second most minutes read books for him.

Little did I know, I was venturing into a world that would turn my quiet evenings into an adventure, at times more akin to a safari than a cozy storytime.You see, 'Our Little Adventures' is the Willy Wonka of children's books. A veritable smorgasbord of adjectives, nouns, verbs, and prepositions that serve as the secret sauce to make your kid the Chatty Cathy of the century.Every story is like diving headfirst into a Scrabble game. They take you on wild escapades through verb valleys and adjective archipelagos, ensuring your kid will learn about language whether they want to or not. And the adjectives! Oh, the adjectives! The book's author has a love affair with description that rivals Shakespeare's infatuation with iambic pentameter.Take it from me, a parent who has accidentally stumbled upon the most effective, albeit exhausting, way of turning a child into a pint-sized linguist. It's been a week, and my kid has used the word "voraciously" more times than I have in my entire life.The illustrations? They're more vibrant than a rainbow wearing neon. They practically leap off the page and dance around the room. I swear I saw a purple giraffe doing the cha-cha on my coffee table last night.The book even comes with a magnifying glass. Because, of course, why not throw some detective work into the mix? As if trying to pronounce "omnipotent" with my toddler wasn't challenge enough!In conclusion, 'Our Little Adventures' is a wild, whimsical whirlwind of words. It's a carnival of language that will leave your child's vocabulary expanded, your own language skills tested, and your evenings anything but quiet. My advice? Dive in, but don't say I didn't warn you about the 'voracious' verbiage adventure that awaits!

This is a perfect book set for young children. I bought one for my little one and then ordered a set for a friend. The books are high quality with a hardback cover and thick pages. The illustration style simple and pretty. We love this book set.

Infelizmente com algumas marcas pois veio numa embalagem de saco e não caixa. Enfim, já coloquei outro box no carrinho para presentear meu filho no aniversário.
