Absolutely loving these math books for my homeschooled daughter! Very clear concise instructions that don't require a separate teachers manual and an answer key in the back. I'm not sure why there's no fourth grade division but we just bought the 3rd grade division. Excellent curriculum! I wish they made curriculum for more subjects.

Pass this IXL book up. It jumps too quickly from one idea to another with so little explanation that I can't even follow it. How do you expect an 8 or 9 year old to? I tossed this to the side and decided to use a Scholastic workbook that works from 0 to 12, then introduces more complex ideas like you would expect.I have used IXL for years and didn't think twice when I purchased this one for my son. Normally, IXL books with specialized topics like this one will gradually introduce the subject. All the fractions and decimals books are superior in every way. Learning happens in such a way that the child develops the skills to solve more and more complex mathematical equations so naturally that they need very little instruction. I typically set a 45 minute timer and let my sons work independently. They enjoy this independence and often beg me for more time!IXL Multiplication 4th Grade Math confused both my son and me. I had helped my daughter through advanced algebra just last year, but struggled to help my son with this book! It advanced way too quickly and lacked thorough explanation. I've never needed additional material to teach with a specialized IXL and decided to trash this. After summer break, my son had forgotten most multiplication and needed a refresher, and this wasn't it.
