I bought this with a kitchen aid stand mixer for my daughter but she was away in August so we just used the stand mixer the other bday do we have yet made any recipes but man do the recipes look amazing and let me tell you this is a great book. It is very informative and the quality is impeccable. I highly recommend this book!!!

I had a good feeling about this book and I was right :) This should be called "Baking from scratch" or something like that, it is perfect for a beginner like me, and talks about baking techniques (with helpful pictures), ingredients, and of course, it has a lot of excellent recipes.

I bought a savory book from America’s Test Kitchen during the prime day sales and likes the layout and additional info so much that I grabbed this one. I was doing cake and cupcakes for a wedding and literally switched out all my recipes for these 5 days before. The chocolate cupcake recipe alone is worth the entire book. Who knew you could bake them with ganache on top and it would sink down perfectly?! Saved me sooooo much time not having to core and fill 200 cupcakes. The yellow recipe was also delicious! There’s so many other awesome recipes I have yet to try but from an experienced baker - so worth it!!!

This cookbook is amazingly helpful for new bakers and those of us a bit set in our ways. Great for new bakers because it starts right off teaching you how to get started and includes many techniques. I bought one for me and one as a gift. I am in my 60's and I have learned some new methods for cake baking.

I purchased looking for new wedding cake recipes and the cover photo intrigued me. Turned out to have way more than I expected! No matter the favorite recipe book you already use, this would be a great addition. Packed with many dessert options including ice cream cakes you'll find an interesting favorite in no time. Has gluten free options for chocolate cake. Very satisfied with purchase I recommend.

Je suis une canadienne vivant à Paris et les amies de ma fille me demandent souvent de préparer des gâteaux "américains". À tous ceux et celles qui veulent préparer ce type de gâteaux, je recommande ce livre. America's test kitchen en gage de qualité en Amérique du Nord. Leurs recettes sont inratables. Évidemment, il faut parler anglais, mais vous ne regretterez pas cet achat. Les photos sont magnifiques aussi.

If you are new to America’s Test Kitchen, this book may delight you. It would make a nice gift too, for example. However, if you have a few America’s Test Kitchen cookbooks, this one won’t be worth the space that it takes up, because you probably have 85% of these recipes already, albeit without the full-page colour photographs.
