I bought Hello, Baby Animals: A Black-and-White Board Book for my newborn after hearing that high-contrast images are great for early visual development — and it’s absolutely true! My baby is totally captivated by the bold black-and-white animal illustrations. It's one of the few books that holds their attention this long.The pages are thick and durable, perfect for little hands (and future chewing!). The simple animal designs are adorable and clear, and I love that it’s both visually stimulating and great for early bonding time.We use it during tummy time and quiet moments before bed, and it never fails to get a smile or wide-eyed stare. I can already see it becoming one of our most-loved first books.If you’re looking for a newborn-friendly book that’s both educational and engaging, this one is a must-have for any baby’s library!

I move it slowly from side to side to encourage head turns, and lately it’s been helping him start to roll on his own!
