We were working on an XJS-C and the searching the internet, there was not a lot of info on this car. But this book has it all! Yes it is a little expensive for a "repair manual" but it is SO worth the money. If you have an XJS or similar, I recommend buying this book.

This book is certainly going to be my new best friend whilst working through the many small (and occasionally large) issues with my recently-acquired '94 XJS. I do have one complaint, which explains the four-star rating: I was under the impression--perhaps wrongly--that the book contained wiring diagrams for all XJS model years. It doesn't. Within the book it's explained that the complexity of the early 1990s-and-beyond cars necessitated simplified diagrams for these later years, so you don't actually get the full diagrams. I had to source those elsewhere. It's understandable, since the full wiring chart for my '94 runs something like 80 pages... still, I wish I'd known ahead of time. Other than that nit, this is solid reference piece that'll be a great help in the future.

For what is essentially a reprint the quality is acceptable. Way overpriced but essential to the XJS owner. At the price the publishers should provide access to an accompanying parts manual which is sadly missing.

I'm a machinist, quite technically and mechanically inclined and purchased this manual as an aid for some engine repairs I was doing. Because this manual covers all three 6 cylinder engines for the XJS some diagrams and descriptions weren't very helpful for my 4.0L model. I found online info more helpful actually.As I logged in to write this review I noticed the manual now sells for a 39% discount from where I purchased it 2.5 weeks ago and according to Bolo it's not their policy to extend a refund for the difference. grrr.
