About the Author
Dr. Haifaa Younis is an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with roots in Iraq. She is the founder, Chairman, and resident scholar at Jannah Institute. She is a Resident Scholar at the Islamic Center of Irvine, California. Dr. Younis graduated from the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) and Al-Huda Qur’an Memorization School (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) where she completed the memorization of the Qur’an. Currently, she lives and works in the United States, and teaches various Islamic studies courses focusing on purification of the heart (Tazkiyah).

Allahuma Barik! May Allah bless Dr Haifaa for this beautiful book. From the looks to the content even the feel of the book makes you want to read it a thousand times. The amazing women that were presented in it give me hope in humanity and make me want to always strive for better in order to meet Allah’s satisfaction. May Allah reward Dr Haifaa and make all of the readers followers of the beautiful path that these builders of a nation took.

This book is very easy to read as a revert/convert to Islam. The stories of various women who paved the way for future women within Islam are heartwarming and sometimes even made me laugh. Many of the stories of prophets and their family are very serious, and this book is very well written, however I do appreciate the sometimes light tone that they author uses as she describes the qualities of the women of this book.This is a great book for anyone who is seeking a deeper understanding of the value of the contributions of women within Islam. I will be offering this book to my preteen daughter as she becomes interested in these types of books. I will eventually offer it to my son when he is of an age when this will be relevant to him as well so he can increase his appreciation for women in Islam.

The cover is absolutely gorgeous MashAllah. But the content of the book is amazing as well, I was able to relate in one way or another to every woman talked about in the book. I felt like I was reading about myself, and the book made these amazing women that were near the Prophet ﷺ seem so human and relatable to our every day circumstances and struggles.
