This edition is BEAUTIFULLY BOUND And PRINTED, IT is absolutely top quality and the COVER is exceptionally LOVELY. This book is a deep, spell-binding treatment of the Jungle. The writer knew animals, people and Life to mesmerizing degree. A child's imagination and appreciation and deep empathy will be developed. an adult will find it as truth well beyond conventional fiction. This is the book which i read as a child over and over and which made me a poet, as well as a pilgrim throughout my life.

It was my favorite book when I was a child. I would read it over and over. Now that I’m a Grandma, I’ve just started reading it to my grandson. When I’m gone, I’ll leave the book to him.

I bought this as a gift for a little boy who was having a jungle book party! It was a hit! It’s a beautiful book and such a sentimental piece!

We got the whole collection. The art work on these is just so cute and the color and tones are perfect. They keep the library shelves looking beautiful. It is not a clothbound book. It is printed paper wrapped that has a cloth like pattern in it. It is nicely made and for a child’s library it will do fine. It would for an adult one too. Our little one was drawn to this strong right away just based on the bear in the front.

I bought this book for my middle school daughter. She loved that it was such a beautiful hardcover book. The font is perfect for young readers and older readers alike. We enjoyed reading this book together but I especially loved how beautiful this book is. I wish there were more classics with such a beautiful cover.

I bought this book to make a gift for a friend. The details read that it was cloth bound. I assumed I would be able to embroider the cover. This book is NOT cloth bound. It is good quality, still beautiful. The cover is hard material like a heavy paperweight that has high gloss. You cannot use this for crafting.

Clássico muito bonito e confortável
Me apaixonei por essa coleção da editora (pela editora em si, na verdade) e estou muito feliz com a compra. Livros em inglês normalmente são bem caros por aqui, mas esse estava até mais barato se formos analisar o fato de ser língua estrangeira e capa dura. Ele não é muito grande em dimensões, mas para mim é perfeito porque é fácil de manusear. Outra coisa interessante é que ele é bem levinho, ao contrário de alguns livros capa dura por aí. Então ele acaba sendo bem confortável de se carregar para os lugares. Eu gosto da capa e de como o "The Jungle Book" está em dourado, porque ele reflete brilho quando você vai mudando o ângulo (a citação no fundo do livro também tem isso). De todo modo, eu acho que é um bom custo-benefício para quem gosta de colecionar. Ainda estou lendo, mas acredito que todos sabem como a storyline é incrível. Sou apaixonada pelo filme e quis o livro para mim. Não me arrependo.
