I'm a big fan of Robert Sabuda books! I am slowly collecting them with each child's birthday! The illustrations alone are beyond incredible, but the pop-up creations are mind-blowing. I find myself opening and closing each one repeatedly to figure out how they work, as they seem sort of magical. I also like how the stories seems to be the original version, and with such beauty to look at, even my young children want me to read the whole story!The binding is strong, yet lightweight, and of the half-dozen books of his we've bought over the last ten years, only one string has broken, and that was because flipping the page was too exciting to be gentle. The colors in the artwork is vivid and engaging as well. It's been the most fun way ever to introduce my children to these classic stories.

This might be the most beautiful and imaginative thing I’ve ever owned. It’s not just a book. It’s a full experience. Every page explodes with color and movement. It feels like magic.As I flipped through it for the first time, I had a permanent smile on my face. It honestly made me feel like a kid at Christmas again. That kind of joy is rare and priceless.I’ve seen a lot of art and read a lot of stories, but this one hit me different. The way it uses nothing but paper to pull off these scenes is unreal. It takes real skill to design something this complex that still tells the story so well.And it was only $22. That’s insane. I’d expect something like this to be behind glass in a museum, not sitting on my bookshelf.Before I bought it, I did check the 1-star reviews and saw that some people got damaged books or the wrong one entirely (no pop-ups). But mine came in perfect condition. Just a heads up—make sure it’s the right version when it arrives, because if you get the one I got, you’re in for something truly special.

This book is exceptionally charming. I was so impressed with its quality and illustrations that I subsequently purchased a copy for myself after presenting one to my niece for her birthday. The craftsmanship and artistic presentation are remarkable.

This popup version is glorious! My inner 3 year old was ecstatic! A couple comments however. I read reviews by several reviewers who were upset because they didn't receive the popup version. On the Bolo page for the book in the "see other formats..." section there are some other versions - at least one of which is just the book. At this moment it sells for $12.99. The popup version is $21.99. The other comment is to open this book very slowly and gently the first time. It is quite fragile. Sadly even though I did that I still cut off the head of one of the flamingos :). A little glue will fix it. All in all this is a wonderful version of a magical story

This is a stunning edition of Alice in the Wonderland with lovely gold foil accents. The binding is nice and strong and it fits nicely in my display.

This is a very beautiful book. I love the artwork! I love that it’s a Popup book because I loved the puppet books when I was a child. So this brought back a lot of beautiful memories.

This is one of my go-to gifts. And I have it on my shelf too (along with the Sabuda Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan pop up books). Note: NOT for small children. Interactive storytelling at its best.
