The book is organized be regions and highlights major destinations and experiences. Will probably buy a Fodor book for another perspective.

Lonely Planet guides are among the best travel guides you can read, but this one seems to have a flawed upload for the Kindle version, as the graphics and photos are intact, but the book is missing 98% of its text. Please proceed with caution until this is rectified.

The kindle version inexplicably includes only graphics and minimal text captured with them - no body text. My guess is about 80% of the content does not appear. Makes this version effectively useless.

I bought Fodors and Lonely Planet guides for our upcoming trip to New Zealand. The LP version has some good info but poorly organized, not intuitive and sometimes maddeningly incomplete.Fodors remarkably better.

This was the first time I purchased a Lonely Planet Experiences guide. It had significantly less detail and suggested spots to visit than a traditional Lonely Planet and left a lot to be desired. For my next trip, I’ll purchase a traditional guidebook instead.

The format concentrated on different adventures in different regions which is great if you are just beginning to plan your trip. But if you have an itinerary in mind and just want to know recommended sights, restaurants, etc. along the way, it is not at all helpful.

Was hoping for a good overview of highlights on New Zealand and it looks like this might be what I’m looking for but unfortunately the Kindle version seems to be broken and there is no text, a fairly important part of any book…Don’t know if this is an Bolo or Lonely Planet issue but would expect better out of either. Have used Lonely Planet books for decades and generally they are excellent.

Travel book filled with all sorts of useful tips and ways to get off the beaten track.
Text not showing up on Android Kindle App
Purchase this book in Kindle format to get an updated version from my 2019 paper book while travelling. The Kindle book is showing up in my library, but most of the text is missing only images are shown on all my Android devices. Two pages ares shown side to side, but rotation seems not be supported. On the Kindle reader on the web, the text is shown normally. This book is useless. Major deception here. I purchased many Kindle books in the past and never had any issue with them. An Bolo seems not to provide refund for digital content.
