I absolutely loved watching Manon on Great British Baking Show, and I’ve been following her for years on socials. Her recipes are so so good and fairly easy to achieve on your own, even if you consider yourself challenged in the culinary department. Her book has plenty of beautiful pictures of both the food and landscape, and the recipes are detailed enough to where someone who is not naturally a cook would be able to do them, but simple enough to where you definitely won’t just buy the book and then never be able to use it. From the first few pages, I knew it was going to be one of my favorites!

The recipes I’ve tried so far are well-written and delicious. Many recipes are simple to put together, but in a way I would never have thought of. An example is using baked butternut squash as a spread for toast and then layering with blue cheese. I had both left-over after a dinner party, so tried it and it was outstanding.

This book reads like a beautiful love letter to the chef’s home country! The recipes are clear and simple. The photography is stunning. I read through all of the recipes the first night I got it— cover to cover! The author’s passion seeps through the pages interspersed with sweet stories about her hometown. It is inspiring me to get in the kitchen!

I really enjoyed this book. It’s filled with simple, healthy, no-nonsense French recipes that-no lie-kind of spark joy just to look at and think about. I have apricots on my grocery list for the first time in my life. I’m not even sure I’ve ever even eaten an apricot, but thanks to this book I will be making Apricot jam. I’m also toying with the idea of making my own butter and mayonnaise, simply because the book says you should. I really can’t argue that. Buy this book if you’ve lost the joy in cooking. It will inspire you.

What a lovely cookbook with the most drool-worthy recipes. I adore French cuisine and this book doesn't disappoint. The recipes are approachable, delightful and delicious. The book itself is so beautiful, it found a home on my coffee table.

I love the book. Great recipes and beautiful photos. But, this is the 2nd time it has arrived warped or damaged.

This is a beautiful cookbook with super tasty recipes. I'm cooking my way though it...and it's so good! I highly recommend this cookbook.
Nothing special
Disappointed with the recipes. Nothing special. Love the Reels which is why I bought the book. I suppose that is your reason for doing the FB reels. But the book is nothing special.
Way too many random photos
Way too many non-recipe related photos vs recipe ratio. Feels a bit of a rip off. I love her Instagram content, but this book was a little disappointing.

DELIGHTFUL AND REALLY PRACTICAL!
Arrived yesterday and I must say this book is delightfully presented. A really nice book to browse through.More than that the recipes are lovely, ingredients easily accessible and the methods easy to follow. As a pescatarian It gives me wide range of choice and I would eat most of the recipes. Manon seems to really understand what you need in your arsenal as a home cook, simple delicious recipes including sauces and vegetables. I cannot wait to get started.
