Ok, so my 4 year old daughter hated practicing to write. I have tried writing without tears and many many others. I was going to just give up and try again maybe a year from now but then i got these and some colorful dry erase markers. I told her she could only used the colorful markers when using this book and two others like it. Game Changer! My daughter is writing tracing and now actually enjoying pencil and paper practice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Get some colorful dry erase markers too to make it more fun!

Got this to help my 2.5 year old learn numbers. He loves the book, likes the challenge of tracing the numbers, counting the objects in the great pictures, and sometimes just scribbling on the pages with washable crayons.Pros:The book is well laminated.Pictures allow kid to count the objects to figure out the number.Washable crayons work AWESOME! (easily wash off with a damp paper towel)Cons:The marker dried up after 1 use (less than 20 minutes), and I am sure the cap was on tight. (But I bought this item for the book, not the marker, thus the 5 star rating.)That being said, washable crayons work great and clean off easier than the marker did.Definitely recommend this numbers book.

The books are fantastic! My kids love drawing in them. The markers they come with require a damp cloth to clean them off the page then a dry cloth to dry the page because if you don't dry the page, there will be sploches from the wet marker residue. It's a pain! And did I mention that I have to use either multiple wet wipes or multiple damp cloths if I am cleaning more than 4 pages. And then my hands get all black from the marker residue left on the cloth or wet wipe. Ugh!I HIGHLY recommend buying a pack of Expo dry erase markers to go with these books. https://www.Bolo.com/gp/aw/d/B0006HXJFK/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1They wipe off the books with a dry cloth or tissue, making it that much easier for my kiddos to clean on their own. If you're gonna spend money on the book, so yourself a favor and buy decent markers to go with it!

Great homeschool tool. However the marker it comes with stains the surface and will not come off. Super bizarre. We just use our own dry erase markers and it comes clean perfectly. I also suggest wiping it down as soon as you are done using it because it tends to be very difficult to clean after sitting for just a day.

Love these workbooks - my 2.5 year-old enjoys looking at the pictures and tracing the numbers. I have used the pen that comes with the books, but for my toddler, I like to use Crayola Dry-Erase crayons. They are a little chunkier and that makes it easier for him to hold.We have used these books at least once a week for the past few months - they hold up very well. I have had to rethread the binding a couple of times, but I like the spiral binding because it is more durable than just a stapled binding. Plus it lays flat!We will be buying more of these workbooks.

My 4-yr old loves it and I love that it is washable/re-useable. We had other (paper) workbooks but they were quickly used and discarded. It's full of fun, bright colors and images so she likes using it and learns in the process. We also use it to re-enforce counting and number recognition. We use our own washable markers though. It comes with a black one and I wasn't taking the chance that it wasn't washable.

As a teacher I am always looking for some educational materials to help my daughter. This is a great practice book and the fact that we can erase and reuse makes it even better. Great pictures and plenty of practice. My daughter didn't get the cap all the way down on the marker and it dried out after the first use, but it was our fault. I got a new marker and we are back at it. Great product!

Seems like it has already been tried out by someone, the book itself had been wet too but not the packaging as I ordered another book and that one was fine!

Grandson loves this. Bought 4 different books in the series, numbers, letters, tracing shapes etc..... For beginning writers it's the perfect size traceable letters with special guides showing where to begin the strokes to form each letter/numberr correctly. Comes with an erasable marker, that truly wipes off the page easily. We used a baby wipe to clean at the end of the session, so it would be all ready for next time. Scholastic.

Recommend - great way to learn
Brillant helps with memory for counting. Also great for hand writing coordination my three year old has learnt to write numbers using this and as it is a wipe clean can use it over and over again. Great value for money. Definate recommend to buy.
