Awesome Batman Beyond story that definitely feels like it takes inspiration from the main show. The main story is about a sentient AI that takes over Gotham as the leader and controls all facets. It gets crazy and Terry has to go old school at times to avoid being detected. There's also a sequel to this I haven't read yet.

Amazing story with amazing art that works for people that are complete beginners to batman beyond as a character and anyone who loves the animated show.

It is a very quick read. The art is fun and energetic. The story kind of drags on a bit too long. Its a fun book for fans of Batman/ Batman Beyond. Very self contained. Good for new readers.

Batman Beyond is one of my favorite iterations of the caped crusader and after rewatching the show lately I wanted more. I looked up some of his best modern stories and this came up a lot so I jumped in. I was not disappointed. The art style is great, the story is punchy and interesting and gives the same tone as the show which I love so much. I can’t wait to read more Batman beyond.

I only read the first volume of Rebirth and I hated the direction they were going with Batman Beyond. This is going in a way better direction. I love Bruce Wayne when I say this, but it was way passed time Terry gets the full spotlight. I won’t spoil anything but if you’re a Batman Beyond fan, do yourself a favor and read this.

Unpredictable and gripping story
The story begins with the murder of Bruce Wayne and an AI gains control over the Gotham City. Beating all the odds Terry Mcguiness finally saves the Gotham City. The story is quite interesting and of a science fiction genre. Enjoyed the book indeed.
New year, new Batman
A good book. I liked the story of Terry McGinnis becoming his own Batman. The artwork was great. It fits the story perfectly.I think it was an interview I saw with Bruce Timm when he was asked about doing Batman Beyond after Bruce Wayne had died. He said never and I was cheering this decision I think in the to have Bruce as a mentor and teacher to the tough bit untrained and inexperienced Terry was a great thing, but now Terry has much more gained that experience it is time for Terry to step out of Bruce's shadow and that could not happen with Bruce alive. It was definitely time for Terry to become his own Batman.I like the story of Terry coming into his own and the new Gotham, with a new villain. It was hood that Terry tried to do things Bruce's way, but he is not Bruce. If I had one complaint it would be that I think the end was too rushed. However, I am very interested in what comes next. The book finishes with both a variant cover gallery and a sketchbook of character designs.
