3.0 out of 5 stars Ask your boss before following instructions in this book

C.Y. · March 23, 2025

It’s the 4th edition: you’d think they have this smoothed out. There were quite a few incorrect statements in the book, such as “patients with hypocalcemia may be given Calcitonin” (absolutely not!) on page 226 and “paristalsis starts in the small intestines” (it starts in the esophagus) in the practice quizzes. The professor had to change grades for quizzes 3 times because of multiple answers being correct. If you’re going to “refresh” a book, you need to correct it.
