5.0 out of 5 stars Thankful for these poems. My mother is a stroke survivor and we read a poem together daily.
Donna’s poem are beautiful reflections that my mother and I enjoy on a daily basis. They are short and uplifting. When I started looking for reading material for my mother to read as part of her stroke recovery, this book quickly became her favorite. She reads at least one, if not several, to me out loud. Her poems contain lovely imagery that is thought provoking and reflective, so the perfect calming mind exercise for her. A full book is a bit too much for her concentration level, but poetry is just right. We are thankful to have found these poems.

Beautifully written words (essays or poems) can soothe the soul and reach out to the mind concerns of many women today. This book is a treasure to pick up, even to read one or two selections at a time - it is a dear book that every woman above a certain age needs to read. I love Donna Ashworth’s poetry. Wild Hope got me hooked, and this was wonderful too. These poems are full of hope and joy. They help me start my days on a bright note!

Donna Ashworth is not new to the poetry scene, but seems to be getting some long overdue notice and kudos since the recent publication of her three books and her heightened social media presence. She's very talented and often puts into poetic verse what many people - especially those going through things - are trying to express. I recommend this book as well as all her others.
