Im not a huge Holly fan, but this was a great one, and frankly all of the Holly Tales are great. He pulls you in despite yourself.Recommended. Horror is his genre, but crime / musteries are rapidly becoming a close second.

The book is great. The cover is a little dirty but a wet paper towel took care of that. I think it was the person that packed the box’s fault. Not the seller.

NEVER FLINCH is the newest offering from the master storyteller, and while it isn't his greatest Holly Gibney story...it's a crackling good yarn. There are character we love, characters we come to love, tension and suspense, and the pages, as they usually do with King books, turn themselves. Whenever I hear of a new Stephen King offering, I never flinch. I never hesitate to buy his work quickly and lose myself in his stories. They won't all ascend to the heights of 11/22/63, IT, REVIVAL, etc....but I always have a good time, I have to say. Here's to more good times, yet.

Five stars for Stephen King, ZERO stars for Bolo. My preorder came in dirty and crumpled, set it to return and ordered a second copy. Second copy is also in terrible condition. Will be returning both and buying local if I can find it.

If you are a King fan it is about the condition of the book as well as the story. Us book lovers keep our books in great shape because we love our books. We treasure our books, as well as,the stories they hold. I will not waste good money for a destroyed book no matter if the story contained within it is great. I was taught as a child to treasure a book, the smell, the binding, not to write in one, to appreciate a good book. Maybe that is all lost on ignorance or I have read Fahrenheit 451 too many times.

Right out of the box, the book was damaged. It looked like someone took a rasp to both the front and back covers.Unacceptable.

I just can’t understand how he does it! So well, so fast, so gruesome. Stephen King is a freak of nature right up there with the best of the best. I expect nightmares.

I was disappointed. The story drags in the middle - the same scenario plays out in several different cities. Then the ending is over the top - almost funny but that was not the intent.On a different note - people should not give low star reviews based on how the book was packed or whether the cover was dirty. That's not what BOOK reviews are for.
