We preordered this in July and when it arrived we went nuts! It has detailed instructions, how-to's and tips perfectly explained for a younger audience. The recipes are labeled "easy," "medium" or "project" which makes deciding what and when to make it a breeze. The photos are gorgeous. It's just so well written and organized. The ribbon bookmark is also a wonderful touch. It's just an excellent book for adults and kids, really. If you love baking you just can't go wrong with a King Arthur recipe. Incredibly happy with this and it was truly worth every penny. A big thank you to the wonderful bakers who made this happen!

For the mini chefs! Thank you King Arthur for a cookbook written for the big imaginations and tastes of kids, without talking down or making things too simple. This is the perfect guide for older kids cooking alone, or littles working with a grownup, with recipes specifically designed to capture their attention. As info and directions get more and more easy to summon (hello AI), the value of unplugged kitchen play with the focus, fun, and yummy payoff of baking just keeps going up. This will be my go-to birthday present for my kids entire first grade class this year ;).

This is a wonderful book for young bakers and their adult helpers. The recipes are varied and range in complexity so that any level of skill is supported and encouraged. I bought one for my kitchen and one for my grandchildren to keep at their house. King Arthur recipes are always well tested and turn out as expected so no disappointments or disasters. It is a beautiful book as well which is inspirational. Can't wait to try lots of recipes!

This looks perfect for my great grandson who is very into becoming a chef, but it's written for his age and current experience level at 12 years old.

This is a solid baking cookbook—but it is NOT for kids; even kids 8 and up as it is billed. It’s a good book for any wanna-be—or even practicing—baker.

This is really cool book and that lots of good information for kids wanting to learn how to bake. It has sweet and savory recipes. We've really enjoyed and it's a great way to get in the kitchen with your kids!

This cookbook was super easy for my 10 year old to use! She's made cookie cutter sugar cookies with icing, and cupcakes with homemade frosting! Next she wants to try the homemade pretzel bites!
